I understand you. I am doing it on my own - already removed more than 100 mb from SSTU assets and everything works as intended (everything what I want to work). My only problem is that after removing another 60 mb Orion parachutes stopped working.

@Shadowmage could you tell which of the following files are responsible for Orion and Soyuz parts (parachutes, solar panels etc.) because I would like to remove all others.

[1.12] KSP-RO - Realism Overhaul [16 May 2022]
winged replied to Theysen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
RO is already doing that. Look at the mentioned before Gemini engine or RL-10 CECE. They have never flown on a real mission but RO includes their configs.- 2,214 replies

[1.12] KSP-RO - Realism Overhaul [16 May 2022]
winged replied to Theysen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That's what TD-339 was designed for - tiny 0,45 kN engine for small spacecrafts. Also I don't know what you mean by "small by KSP standards" but most of my small landers are about as light as IRL (from 200 to 2000 kg on the Moon and Mars). Want to deliver 400 kg lander to the Moon? - Use four of them. Maybe a heavy rover? Build a skycrane with 16 of them like I did: For heavier payloads there is also Gemini Lunar Landing Engine (12 kN), SuperDraco (60 kN ?), Lunar Descent Engine (43 kN) and RL-10 CECE in different variants (Hydrolox or Methalox - 67 kN). The last two you can use for very heavy payloads including crewed landers on Moon and Mars:- 2,214 replies

Add "Quit to desktop" option to pause menu
winged replied to a topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I did that a few times. -
Most of the parts you see here is just Procedural Parts mixed with Procedural Fairings. Other than that I've used: SSTU for Orion, FASA for landing legs, Baha Constellation and ChakaMonkey for engines, SSTU for habitats (with my own RP-0 configs). Antenna is probably from Remote Tech or AIES. Radiators, RCS ports, structural parts and everything else on this picture is stock. Full list:

Bumpy runway in KSS-RO
winged replied to aluc24's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
No, they aren't, many people are building them including me. What you can do is either install Real KSC mod and launch from Space Shuttle Facility or use Vessel Mover and launch your planes from grass near the stock runway. -
[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
winged replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
KK Launchers is already supported - you don't need to do anything, just install latest RO. https://github.com/KSP-RO/RealismOverhaul/tree/master/GameData/RealismOverhaul/RO_SuggestedMods/KK Launchers -
You mean that one: https://imgur.com/H0tRoVE ? It's from a quite outdated mod:

Are nuclear engines really low thrust at sea level? Why?

That TWR wasn't realistic if I understand correctly: https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=39436.0 -

I am not going to update KSP - it would break too many things but anyway I have two installations 1.0.5 for planes: https://i.imgur.com/eWIuYeN.jpg 1.2.2 for rockets and RP-0: https://i.imgur.com/iArBuuF.jpg -

I've made HTHL SSTO as well and that one was much harder to do: https://imgur.com/a/Yy6Dv -
That's a well known bug, you need to post it in RP-0 or RO threads, someone will know how to help you.

Nexus - fully reusable VTVL SSTO with a capability to launch 56.000 kg into low Earth orbit. Two-stage GTO and deep space missions are possible as well. Modified DCSS-like upper stage will send payload into GTO/ Moon/ Mars and then return and dock with mothership using aerobraking. Full album with description: https://imgur.com/a/OdFgo Earth-to-Earth - suborbital variant of Nexus capable of reaching any place on Earth within less than hour. Due to ballistic reentry (8,8 G at peak) such form of transport is only suited for very resilient Kerbals. KSC, Florida - Paris flight time: 25 minutes. -
K-10. I use KSP 1.0.5 for planes. It seems like many mods I use including QuizTechAero are simply not compatible with KSP 1.+ versions.
