[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
Saybur Stuff replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hi - was there a change recently to the "Resources" folder inside NearFuturePropulsion/Parts/Resources ? I was trying to replicate my build and when I loaded up an old save to test, it said the parts 'gassspectrometer-01 were missing. I was able to resolve the issue by manually copying those folders, but did I miss something in the install? Thanks! -
[Minimum KSP: 1.12.2] Heisenberg - Airships Part Pack
Saybur Stuff replied to Angelo Kerman's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm installing it manually, so no CKAN issues. I'll have to relaunch it and I'll include some pictures, but I recall that HL Medium was one of them. I'll get some pictures posted in a bit, and logs. Thanks. -

Do the example craft have dependencies beyond the main mod and HL? I get a lot of 'parts unavailable' when I load ships. -

Looking really good. For the nose I'd be interested in a 'dream chaser' esque stubby nose too. Are you thinking of adding a 'right click toggle selection' to go through different color variants for the noses, wings? Might be fun to have a couple simple variants. Wings white black, white white, that kind of thing, perhaps for the nose too? -

This looks great! Really looking forward to both - let me know if you want a person to test. Thanks! -

I was also having this issue, wrote about above as well, and I had a development while trying to figure it out, but it's not a very useful development: I found that by loading the cargo unit with some "Box of Generic Specialized Parts" I can get the printer to print! But the output goes, strangely, into the Recycler, and can only be viewed by going into the Recycler interface. Weird.
-
I've been really enjoying this so far - a few questions I'm not sure I saw clarified: What is the difference between the print shop, and the 3d printer? When I try to print in the print shop, it just says I need more storage space, even if the station has enough space? EDIT: Same problem as Foxline above: Here's an image of my "Test Station" I've tried everything I can think of: Placing all parts Placing lots of storage placing lots of resource storage continers In space, or on land installing Extraplanetary Launchpads Nothing seems to work?

I really like the implementation of those black heat shields. I would love if you could flesh out the heat shield components for Mk2 parts, specifically the one on the nose of this little spaceplane: A similar heat shield that snaps to the stock wings would be really interesting too. In the meantime I’ll happily keep experimenting with this. Thanks again! -

Any ideas why this error is coming up? I have B9 installed already, is there some incompatibility? Do I need to remove a file somewhere maybe...?- 125 replies

Actually I think I have it figured out now. During one of the instances where the game didn't fully crash and was just unresponsive, the whole computer was also being very sluggish. Switching to a virtual terminal and running 'top' showed all RAM (16GB) and swap space was in use. Just went out and bought more RAM (32GB total) and so far everything appears to be OK, all the previous actions that would trigger a crash no longer cause problems. Really appreciate the fast response! I'll update if the problem comes back but hopefully this was just an OOM issue.

Hi - this is a weird situation, as I am not running a standard KSP install. I'm running Linux Mint and running KSP through Steam using the Proton compatibility layer, to run the Windows Install of KSP. Pretty heavily modded. I can't quite figure out where the problem is, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I've been working a lot on getting my game going... I'm re-creating my game state from my Windows Install to keep playing in Linux, as I'm giving up in Windows, and I keep getting this issue and it's put the brakes on my KSP conversion. Thoughts? Not sure if I should upload a log or what. Or where to just look in the log? HELP - thank you
