Florida Man Got Arrested for Intentionally Driving Stolen Truck at NASA Engineers
The Kennedy Space Center Security arrested a man for intentionally driving at two engineers and nearly striking several alligators on Monday morning.
The incident started when security responded to a call regarding a stolen rocket-fuel truck. Authorities received a tip two hours later the stolen truck was found in the Vertical Assembly Building, but when security arrived on scene, they found Florida Man apparently unconscious inside the truck.
Waking up afraid and surprised, Florida Man deliberately drove the truck at one guard, who jumped out of the way to avoid being hit. A high speed chase around the parking lot ensued and the man intentionally accelerated at another guard, who jump off the road to avoid a collision.
Security guards were eventually able to perform an Unexpected Disassemble maneuver with their Pogo Oscillator on the truck, leading it to flip multiple times. Florida Man got ejected from the truck, impacted hard, and was rushed to Saint Gator' Veterinarian's Hospital.
While he has yet to be charged, NASA are expecting charges to include two counts of Aggravated Assault on Alligators and one count of Aggravated Space Flee. Additional charges in other jurisdictions are pending.
