  1. Numero uno reason for mucho crashes is memory leaks from outdated, improperly installed, or buggy mods. Of course you could also run into issues with perfectly stable mods if you simply have too many of them. Also what version of KSP are you running 32 or 64 bit? And on what operating system? Most stable/best performing version from my understanding is 64 Linux. Any 32 bit ver you're going to inevtiably run into memory problems at some point.
  2. Fuel ducts really need to be made two-way, if only for part count consideration. But number one thing to check is what cephalo mentioned, darn one-way ducts.....
  3. I would definitely be ok with that. Would also like to see a larger command module with dust converter included if you did go forward, would be very useful!
  4. Pretty sure that refers to the dV required for what it says, Kerbin to Kerbol transfer, which does require quite a bit of dV.
  5. Super fun mod! Just wanted to say thanks to you, and also curious if you had plans to at some point include a probe core/command module with particles included?
  6. I have loved every single response so far lol
  7. And on the eighth day He created the first mod.
  8. I should have known responses would get philosophical near-instantaneously when bringing up modding lol.
  9. Only way I know is to let time pass. Just time warp a bit and try again??
  10. Posted this a while ago for a different thread just in case this is what you mean but I am still confused. You don't transfer SCIENCE to the lab, only DATA.
  11. NASA opened up a new small vehicle launch pad designed for sub 500kg payloads; designed specifically to be adaptable and cheap it's supposed to help open the market to smaller groups trying to get stuff into space. My question is why hasn't this been done sooner? Also sounding rockets have been around for quite a while why is there a shortage on low-mass pads?
  12. Lol of course! But yea this is a well known little bug, nothing serious enough to issue a hotfix so it should be fixed up in the next patch. At least hopefully, this thing has confused more than just a few people I presume.
  13. This is purely cosmetic, if you check the lab you should actually have the data in there.
  14. Welcome to the boards! Docking and moving in relation to another vessel in general is definitely not the easiest of tasks so don't feel bad. Just a note, it would be super helpful to include of picture(s) of your current ship/situation to let everyone help you a lot better but I have some general advice. First 5m/s at close range is much too fast, you want to be going ~1m/s max. Second, make sure you are in Docking mode by clicking on the middle tab in the lower left by the staging UI and have RCS enabled by hitting R. In docking mode you'll be able to much more finely control your movement using the keys you can find in the settings menu (forget them off-hand precisely enough for ya right now sorry) and should make things a heck of a lot easier when you get closer to other stuff in space!
  15. Given the fact that it's last known trajectory was a rough calculation at best, and the IMMENSE size of the Indian Ocean (just shy of 7.5x the sq mileage of the entire United States) it's still very reasonable we would have just found something now. This is no small place people.
  16. Definitely in agreement that World's First get's little love, something like this would add a lot to keeping you going inbetween major contracts.
  17. Slaaammmmmm lol In all seriousness though, interesting to note Bob.
  18. Challenges has a thread that talks about this http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/124522-Solar-Limbo-How-Low-can-you-Go
  19. Found this for ya, http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/104239-Leveling-Up-Kerbals-The-Training-Program Update: Wiki is sometimes outdated but here's the link to that as well, http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Experience
  20. Hasn't been said already but I think it's worth mentioning that the kid who made this was inspired by KSP, 6th paragraph down. http://www.popsci.com/now-you-can-see-all-space-junk-floating-around-earth-real-time
  21. I will always push for more uses of space stations, they get very little love in stock!
