If they add female Kerbals well then it would be great, even adding some interesting/quirky interactions between the two genders. But I don\'t want it to turn in to a situation such as the many failed Disney sequals where they add another character of the opposite gender and the movie is instantly wrecked , The kerbals, whatever gender should stay simple and loveable. No fashion models such as the many female Kerbals that are drawn in the fanart (not naming any names... )

I was thinking more along the lines of experiments and mission goals, eg, go to the experimentation lab and plant a tree in Zero grav. Possibly also simple things such as getting the kerbals to eat, sleep and work. This would require new features in the future but for now, just being able to explore your craft would be great!

I so want SpaceEngine… but I am running windows 8 preview and the graphics drivers are not out yet :\'(. Ksp works however

K, I think we need to design a giant crane-like spaceship to pull the arc/handle to reveal what it is connected too... and then, of course, de-orbit the Mun 8)

I was about to do a YouTube commentary for the best way to land on Minmus. I paused before landing, took my USB mic and pulled out what I thought was a useless USB plug. After plugging in my mic I un-paused the game, only to find I had just unplugged my Keyboard. I dumbly it F5 to save and ESC to pause... did not work because keyboard was unplugged... RIP Bill Jeb and Bob

I put the solid rocket boosters on the wings, but if its realism you are looking for its not really an option. You could try adding a small cluster of liquid engines adding up to the same thrust on the tail. Or you could try overloading it with RCS thrusters and RCS tanks (haven\'t and don\'t really want to try this)

Nice, but to be honest, I really like the current KSP credit tune, it has a definite/catchy tune. Doesn\'t mean to say this tune could not be used anywhere else such as on lift-off.

Well, the only un-posted info I know is that practically only one part of its is possible to rove on with the cart plugin, anywhere else and you just slide off. -

To be honest I don\'t know why everyone uses such complicated methods such as slingshots and rendezvous to intercept bodies, I don\'t even need to get in to Kerbin orbit, wait till Minmus or the Mun is about an eighth to a quarter turn to the right in its orbit, relative to your ship, Then use a rocket with an massive first stage (8) Its always overpowered with KSP) to go straight up, don\'t turn at any point and get your apogee to match Minmuses\' altitude then burn north or south depending on the inclination I might change my lazy method when stuff like budget and efficiency comes out but until then it suites me

Quite fun for flying around the space centre. The glider composes of a Long-winged Sailplane and a Launcher Cart. On takeoff, Drive full throttle down the runway and then, when the aircraft stops accelerating, Pull up and press space! Then turn up to vertical and level out as the sailplane slows. Ta-Da! you are gliding A couple issues to take note of: 1. A bug causes the cart to sometimes veer of the runway, if its starts veering in one direction then lightly tap in the opposite direction to compensate, If you are to harsh on the controls to bring it back straight then the craft will go out of control and crash 2. Another bug sometimes causes the ailerons to do the opposite of what you want them too. Just try restarting the flight, it usually works.

I have tried to patch many times but as soon as I click the update button on the main menu, the game simply minimises then quits. I am using Windows 8 Preview, could it be anything to do with this?

Minmus is much smaller and therefore it has much less gravity, so the fuel you put in getting that little bit further is made up for by the easy landing

Its quite a cool idea to have a bit of the communities space junk floating around in one save, It will give us an idea of how much we all spew out every mission, just like on earth -
That\'s awesome ;D I really love the idea that your Mun is filled with Kerbal-made structures and sights which all have their own story too tell, This is one of the many things that makes KSP such great game.

Hey, This is the first craft I have uploaded to the site, Its a half Jet half Boat designed to recover and supply a splashed down pod before full recovery. The aircraft is not very stable so it requires the SAS to be on at all times. On take-off, with the SAS on, just hold down S to pull up and it should eventually lift off, even if it comes of the end of the runway. Then when approaching splashed down pod, turn off the engines and press space, the wings will detach and the parachutes will deploy. Then put the engines back on when descending in order to land horizontally. Important info: The craft is a concept really and it works to an extent. You can develop the craft if you are good as I am not that good at developing craft KEEP THE SAS ON AT ALL TIMES Read the instructions above if you have not already Thanks, here are some images The images may not work! I am new to this, if not then I will attempt to fix them She takes a bit of encouragement to get off the ground! And we are off! Towards the pod we go Nearly there, Detach wings + deploy chutes Crunch, a harsh landing, lost 2 out of 3 engines, ah well! Towards the pod we... float very slowly =P Claw at the ready! Gotcha!
