Like I was saying, incredibly easy to reload. They accelerate shots quickly, but are inaccurate. Another advantage is their reloadability. But, you need many shots, so that reloading and high ammo capacity is needed.
The Trecut was sent out for her first combat trials. Commanded by her drone, she was controlled back at the space center. Aligning her shot, the barrel-launched missiles missed completely. Her first sponson-launched missile bounced off the side plating. The other 3 we never saw, but they pierced the side armor and hit the barrel. This dislodged a missile each shot, and destroyed some of the missile stacks. The 3rd shot in specific exploded the fuel tank of the missile, sending debris through the bay. the debris caused a catastrophic explosion of the armament, and 1 missile was left. The 4th shot dislodged the missile, and sent it flying out with the docking port and bicoupler attached. The Trecut then entered a 1005 km by 1016 km orbit, as it has exhausted its missiles. The Little Buster also used very little wing clipping, and thus it defeated the f-9, which used clipping, and the Gladius, which used minor wing clipping.
The plane was a factor there. A CK-232 can't turn particularly well. That damage sustained against the f-9, fa-27,little buster, gladius, heatwave, stormwind, spatha, ck141,typhoeus, and a few others would have gotten me killed.
Anyone can look into it if they wish,my view is tainted. But, I complied with all rules involving wings. - - - Updated - - - Also, an f15 has landed with one wing, and all it has is body lift to help it....http://theaviationist.com/2014/09/15/f-15-lands-with-one-wing/
