This thread is over 6 years old. Cell phone power was not what it is now. -
I occasionally fire up a 1.0.5 save here and there, It runs better than 1.2.2 (only when I look at the Ground) But I have not messed around with the muliplayer stuff, I will look into it though.

Why is this an argument? Are people really saying that Dres does not exist? Just because you dont have the patience to and practice getting there does not mean it doesn't exist. How do you know its so boring if you have never been there? I see a lot of people saying that "there is no reason to go there".... Do you NEAD a reason to do anything in KSP?Just go out and do it. For me just the fact that it exists is reason enough for me to explore it. Every planet/moon in KSP is beautiful in their own way. In a truly infinite universe there exists a solar system that is exactly the same as the Kerbol one. I am willing to bet that any of you would give alot up to be able to go there and explore it, even Dres. So why no use this game to do it? -

Luckily you are hunting anomalies on Mun. There is no shortage there, you will probably find one within a few minutes. Just set the refresh rate to 3 seconds and go into low time warp and be ready to slow time warp if you see one. Zoom in as much as possible to get the most accurate waypoint. -

Personally I would live to see a mk0 size SRB. One that is skinny like the ones on the Atlas V. -

idk if has been mentioned above but they plan on refueling the thing in orbit... drastically reducing the size of the rocket. And they plan on refueling it on mars too...

MechJeb has a flight recorder that does vehicle related stats. -
I found that having any of Kerbin on the screen really hurts my FPS. Why not try running your mega worm while looking in the sky?

Well NASA was always going to Mars anyway. They just haven't told us HOW yet. SLS /Orion is great and all but I dont think NASA will send people on a 9 month journey in a capsule... I hope they have some sort of larger spacecraft and Orion would be just a way to get people there. But the same goes for Spacex... I dont think they could send a crew to mars with just a Dragon.... its just too long of a trip in too tight of a space. Luckily Elon has his ITS to take care of that problem. But what about food/water/waste/oxygen. How to you carry enough supplies for 4 people in a small capsule? But I am positive we will find a way.

Just a quick note. According to the Blue Origin website the LES system puts out 70,000 lbs of thrust. And the capsule weighs 6,000 according to the live stream commentator. That means the thing has a TWR off the booster of 11. Quite impressive.

I built this for one of those "Rescue a kerbal in low Kerbin orbit" Contracts. I wanted to make it as efficient as possible so I landed the thing from orbit as close to the KSC as possible. And there is a Munar eclipse witch makes it even more cool. -

I play both stock and nodded all the time so I would not quit if I lost all mods. The most valuable mod for me is Kerbal Alarm Clock. Tyler Raiz makes really good videos regularly. Has some VERY good series that are in RO and in stock.

What mod adds the really nice realistic textures to engines? In my 1.0.4 RO install most of the engines had really great textures but now that I upgraded to 1.0.5 there are none. the AJ-10 is now a REALLY over sized stock Ant engine and the RD-0105 is a LV-909..... these are just a few. Can someone please tell me what mod changes this?
