  1. Just stopped by to say this. This is my new favorite mod. Thank you so much. I can't wait to build a monstrosity
  2. I have just seen the Episode 5 for the first time and I have to say it was epic. I came to learn about the Kolonization mod and left with more questions than answers but what a trip that was!
  3. Amazing mod!! I installed it a few minutes ago and I am going berserk already. I can finally replicate the Aggregate-family with ACTUAL good aesthetics.
  4. Amazing mod. Thanks to everyone that was involved in it. I gotta ask a question, though: I am using it in conjunction with NFT and I am trying to make an argon hall effect thruster from the base point of 62.5cm to the 2.5m diam., thus I need to calculate the EC usage ratio. What is the direct multiplication for, say, 0.625 to 2.500? Is it directly 4 times the fuel usage and thrust etc. characteristics or does it use a different way? Also: do utilities with specific modules like solar panels, vanilla reactors, RCS thruster units, or most importantly: reaction wheels get their numbers adjusted to the size? I apologize if this was asked a million times, I couldn't find it
  5. This mod is such a mindscrew. What kind of measurement are civilians calculated in? Metric liters? So given that the average human has about 70 liters of volume, a kerbal standing in roughly half the size would be around 35-40 liters. So it's safe to say around 40 liters of depleted kerbonium is 1 civilian. That's all nice and dandy until you remember... ...2.4/4 civilians. I hope you didn't need to chop up any kerbonauts to get that .4 Gotta test out this version, hope me luck with the crashes!
  6. Oh great! Currently I am working on a funky looking refueling station. I didn't know whenever if I should have gone 2001 Discovery One look or Star Wars so I kinda meshed both up. Since I'm new on the forums, I don't know where to post my average builds, should I make a thread on a subforum or make a blog entry or something?
  7. I was gonna make a portal cake but that joke is too over saturated right now. Anything looking bad on the weld? I managed to get a different station welded, I am manually editing the 400~ nodes so KSP doesn't get angry with me. I am gonna try to erase all and see if srAttach works with 0 nodes. This seems like the worst idea I had today.
  8. http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=35871403832759346691 I included a little surprise
  9. I have the same problem. Felbourn, can you help? >Gamedata >CIT_Util >CIT_Util.version >CITUtil.dll >Licence.txt >CIT>Nodehelper>(contents) CIT_Util seems to be working in the debug menu with 1.0.0.0 but I don't see nodehelper
  10. I still cannot get it working since the last thread. Any help? >Gamedata >CIT_Util >CIT_Util.version >CITUtil.dll >Licence.txt >CIT>Nodehelper>(contents) CIT_Util seems to be working in the debug menu with 1.0.0.0 but I don't see nodynode
  11. Welcome back! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/117766-1-04-Cryogenic-Engines-high-Isp-chemical-rockets!-(11-07-15-minor-fixes) It was included in the patches dir. Not sure if necessary but yeah.
  12. Sorry, must have meant "CryoEnginesFuelTankSwitcher". I included it since I believe it's an extension of the InterstellarFS. I heard it is still somewhat WIP from what Nertea said. I could be wrong. I thought since it also uses the same system--even thought I didn't have the actual engines on the weld-- it might be useful to mention. I gotta get used to reading logs more Thank you, btw. I really appreciate it.
  13. Stock(Squad), NearFuturePropulsion, NearFutureSpacecraft, ComResPack, and Cryogenic fuel switch (but I am unsure) http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=06609911287943964227 Problems in the log or any gui messages?

Maybe is that the culprit? EDIT: oh, also: Should I keep away from manned modules of any kind? I can transfer crew but obviously no detection of IVA occurs. Could there be a fix to add IVA modules into the part?
  15. Thanks for that. I'll look into it asap. The glitches are multiplying faster than I can handle. When I weld fuel tanks a weird thing occurs. When I have more than one main type of fuel, let's say mono+oxi+lqd+fuels from community resource, the welded part becomes un-right-clickable. In fact, all parts after doing that stop being right-clickable. After I restart the game it works until I regrettably have to do it again. I use the interstellar fuel switch and that might have to do with detecting the part as a fuel tank and trying to make it compatible with itself but failing after seeing more than 1 fuel type. I tried changing the part type to structural but it didn't do the trick. Any help would be appreciated beyond human comprehension If Community Resource pack isn't compatible with Ubioweld I gotta have to get a fresh start without the Near Future pack. Dang it.
  16. Great mod. I got a question though, when I use the already buggy UbioWelding ltd, the interstellar fuel switch keeps on the part. I suspect this is the cause of my crashes because there are more than one type of fuel on the welded part, not to mention the non-generic LqdHydrogen and etc also in it. What would I need to do in the .CFG file to disable the fuel switch for a specific part? Changing the part type didn't do the trick. Hope that made sense. Thanks in advance.
  17. Amazing mod, been meaning to get my hands on it for some time. Great job to you too for keeping it alive! Playing the 1.0.4 version. I have a big issue. I need to make a habitat ring again, but for obvious reasons I need to weld parts of it. When I do and try to edit the parts, it generally works fine. One thing is an issue: editing attachment nodes.... Are attachment nodes too memory intensive? Because there are A LOT of them in my file even though I deselected the "save all". For example I mostly need the main bodies two polar nodes and a few natural cubic nodes here and there, and anything else can be done radially. Oh, also, while we are on the topic, are radial attachments worse than main nodes in terms of strength? Is there such a difference for other circumstances like that?
  18. MISSION REPORT: ALPHA OMEGA CORP. FAILURE Estimated asset(s) lost: Jacquesmos SPACE&CONSTR. CONG., JSC, 15M~ (estimated) Kerbal-dollars in data and unit, Sigma-Tau station, over 500 personnel. Casualty(s): 234 ground personnel, 58 full-shift radio-units, 91 scientific workers, ~20 kerbanauts, [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Jack Kermann. CURRENT WHEREABOUTS OF KERMANN, JACK: UNKNOWN. DATA OF INTEREST: STATION SIGMA(interplanetary). _____________________________________________________ Here starts the journey of a young Jack Kermann. These are the crude recreations of actual events, based on real life circumstances. This documentation was filmed in studio conditions and no Kerbal lives were exhausted in the recreation of these events. Originally born Fritz von Kermann, he was the second son of a German industrialist in the aluminium refinery business. His family roots could be traced back to a Baron of Prussia. Jack(then Fritz) was given an old Russian soft-cover called the Exploration of Outer Space by Rockets for his 14th birthday. He read and fantasized about "dirigibles" that could beam to space in improbable impulsive times with infinite energy where he and his selected friends could live. He imagined of conquering the galaxy and beyond. In his eyes there were no peace or stable current of pacific, they glowed red with the wish of power and chaotic enslavement of the cosmos. He wanted ALL there is and ever was, and he wanted them to be his. He left home to pursue astronautics in the soon-to-be established Third Reich regime where he rose high command due to his passion and knowledge. Much of his work from the wartime is lost. He was taken to American land with the integration of Operation Paperclip where he changed his legal name to his now current. His dreams still were to conquer, but now he had access to western capitalism. He left NACA much earlier than his peers without much government pressure to pursue his own aerospace firm. He created the Jackquesmos Corp. and began to develop his own technologies. His designs were the basis of around 28 American missiles and 6 jet engines in the Cold War era. After many years, he could finally produce the creations of dreams, extreme efficiency engines. Him and his firm took great part in the early public development stages of Electrostatic thrusters. With the funding and scientific data gained, he started his own private Aerospace testing, design, and launch faculty: the Alpha Omega Corp. He began with 01-Omega-01 that had the capabilities of suborbital manned flight. This lil' guy was called OMEGA-01 since it was the first in the series of Alpha to Omega, hence the "01". Jack's eldest son, Jeb was in the command seat of Omega-01, thus the media called it "Jeb 1000". Total EVA time: Aprox. 6 minutes. World records broken: few. Guesstimations broken: many. Guesstimation records broken: [g1(total guesstimation calculated).G1(total guesstimation records)^2/g1.W1] Jeb enjoyed his extra-vehicular' when the scientists back at Kerbin grimly guesstimated his departure from this life. Both him and the MC back at home were happy enough that they thought about bringing the camera crew to orbit. None survived, unfortunately. And young Jeb made his first landing in the Omega-01 return vehicle. As he got out, he felt somewhat strange, somewhat ecstatic. He foolishly shrugged off and radio-ed in MC. He cleaned out the ashtray from the capsule and smoked a few cigarettes as the ground units came. (Smoking in airplanes was legal back in the day. Why not Reentry vehicles, amirite?) He scientists were so content with the launch that, in fact, they wanted to replicate this success in the missions to come. They persuaded Jack Kermann that if he didn't fail any missions, the public opinion and the budgets would be an easy task. One of the scientists was Werhner Von Kerman, whom he previously met a few times because of Operation Paperclip. He was the leading engineer in the Artificial Control and Stability unit. He advised a mechanical mind, a-- what'dya call that--- ermmm--- it's an intelligence that is artificial--- uhhh---- well, nevermind, guess it mustn't been important. So, timmy, what time is it? After the narrator took his old-age pills the saga continued on. Von Kerman advised an artificial stability enhancer and control unit, a cutting-edge derivative of ASAS. This led to the creation of Mechanicalitziyone Jebidiahn-1000, which they got the idea from the press name the media gave to the OMEGA-01. They logically shortened it to MechJeb-1000. Rumors have it that Jeb decided to distance himself from his father because of this. He quit and joined the newly established Universal Kerbal Space Program, or as now it is called: KSP. I'm- sorry---- default_sandbox_player01---- I'm afraid I cannot allow you- to do that. TO BE CONTINUED---
  19. Hello there fellow Kerbals and aspiring Kerbanauts. I finally decided to join the forums after deciding to show my appreciation to the Near Future mods by commenting on its thread; then why not start here?
