  1. Can you give the source code of Kerbal Star System to me? I think I can keep doing it.

I'm sorry but KSS will never be revived. I will never allow it.

  2. Hello Starcrusher96, I know that KSS is discontinued and no longer supported, but I would still like to play KSS 0.8 for my 1.4 save. If you still have the download links for KSS 0.8, may I have the link to them so I can play with them on my save? The download link on github is missing so I can not download it myself.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry but i'm no longer sharing any kss content. Some concepts of kss have been refitted in my new mod Galaxies Unbound.

  3. Hi StarCrusher96,

We're working through our Spacedock submissions to CKAN at the moment and have gotten to your Kerbol Starsystem mod. It's quite a tricky one to handle in CKAN

So far, we're just installing the "Main Mod" part and ignoring the options, but I see that you've included a modified GameData/Kopernicus/config/system.cfg file. CKAN does not overwrite files, and the standards for Kopernicus is that you should use ModuleManager AFTER:Kopernicus to change the system config, rather than replacing the file.

  5. You need to update the mod for 1.2, it doesn't appear to be working as much as I suspected.

  7. I've just been doing stuff on Planet Hunters when I stumbled across Q11-2 of this large K-Dwarf called KIC 6634112 (APH00016yu). For the past few weeks, people have reported a clearly visible transit in every light curve. This "planet" orbits every 9.8 days. However, I did the math, and what I got for its size is mind-boggling.

    Spoiler

It is about 28.5 TIMES THE SIZE OF EARTH.

Either I'm doing the math wrong, or this is a dwarf star, or this is the largest planet in the Universe.

  9. I'm baaaack!!!! After 6 weeks of theory testing, I'm ready to return to Kopernicus! Version 0.4 of Interstellar Adventure Revived will be released tomorrow...most of the content was finished a month ago. I'll release the first version of KKCM, test Kerbol Starsystem, and make a new mod that includes a bunch of brown dwarfs!

new version of Kerbol Starsystem will be ready soon :P

  10. I've started a thread for a new program/group: IRVEES. This is an exoplanet hunting group that will use transits, radial velocity, and direct imaging to find planets. For now, any members (including me) are going to try and find transiting planets in a patch of sky near the star HD 89744, in Ursa Major.
