I need help! I use a Mac computer and the custom tank texture process seems to be different. I can't find any programs to open the files! Any recommendations? I need free programs that can open .cfg and .dds files.

I'm not saying it's right either. I said it's probable. I'm just pretty sure that you were not launching the Soyuz rocket perfectly right. I don't know the exact launch sequence back in that day, I just know that the faring is always jettisoned while the lower stage is still burning. And I know the exact launch sequence of modern launches. As far as I can tell I think you should start using the modern launch sequence after 1980.

Apollo 12 used a rover to travel long distances. Apollo 15 just perfected the use of a Lunar Rover.

Now that you've cleared the Apollo 11 mission. You have room for more Apollo missions and some other firsts in the rest of 1969 I would recommend that you do these. Mariner 6 and 7 - First two interplanetary spacecraft launched in the same launch window. Apollo 10 - First test of both the Apollo CSM and LM at the Moon. Apollo 12 - First Apollo mission using a lunar rover. Soyuz 4 and 5 - First docking of 2 Manned spacecraft in orbit. Luna 15 - First Soviet Moon Scooper. Probably just a mention though since it crashed on the surface. Zond 7 - Probably just another Mention. First really successful Zond spacecraft flight. Skynet 1A - A real life Terminator reference. At least mention it. You can mention a few more if you want. I'm sure that a follow up video with these will be just as good as your Apollo 11 video.

Amazing work Bob! Definitely your best video yet! You did miss a few interesting facts though. But still, amazing! I hope the rest of 1969 will be just as good. There were still a crazy amount of space flight firsts in 1969 besides Apollo 11.

Sounds like a plan to me. I totally get it as well. With Apollo 11 being so iconic you'd have to do all sorts of cinematics to give it the proper look and feel. And personally I'm really excited for this! I hope the rest of 1969 will be just as awesome.

I also want to remind you of Mariner 6 and 7. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariner_6_and_7 For 3 reasons. First, you haven't shown a Mars Mission in a while. Second, they looked at parts of Mars never observed before. Third, they were the first interplanetary probes launched in the same launch window.
