False. The user below me wishes as well as me that people didn't just put their religion as "Christian" on the census just because they don't know what "atheist" means. (I could rant about this for a while so I'll stop there).

I've done stuff like this before, and it turned out pretty well. If I can turn a Skyrim rap into one about cleaning fluids, I can do this. Here's my attempt: Kerbals? <knocking> Do you want to go to space yet? Come on, let's make a plane! We haven't landed anywhere, We're halfway there, Our hope might fade away! Our crafts were all space-faring But now they're not. We need you so they can fly! Do you want to go to space yet? It doesn't have to be a rover. Not a chance, you! Oh, but why? Wernher Von Kerman: These parts will help. See? Refuel it, Jebediah Kerman: Don't crash it, Both: Don't let it 'splode. <Knocking> Do you want to go to space yet? Or fly a plane round KSC? You see that island there? We've stuff to do, Our rockets only ever really seem to fall! Decouple tanks! <explosion> We're getting disappointed. Almost out of fuel, just watching our rockets go boom! <Explosion x8> Jebediah Kerman: The Mun, it's seeming farther! Wernher Von Kerman: Adding more parts only adds to mass, slow down! Jebediah Kerman: No, it's working! ... Please. I just wanna land it. Jebediah Kerman: T- 1 hour! Wernher Von Kerman: Did you test it though? Jebediah Kerman: It works fine, Wernher. <Rocket launches, engine explodes and the craft spirals, crashing into the ground, killing Bob and Bill> <Funeral for Bob and Bill Kerman> <Knocking> Kerbals? Please, I know it's morbid... KSC's asking "Why not him?" They blame the fuel tanks And I try not to, 'Cause that'd be blaming you, Don't let them win. We close after the summer, A dismaying act, Only a scrap of fuel! Do you want to go to space yet? So far, that's where the draft stands. I'll probably make tweaks to it on occasion when something better comes to mind, but it seems to be in a good enough state for me to push it out there. One question though, is this only going to remain in text or will it be adapted into video? It'd raise problems such as "who would voice?" etc., but it'd be a shame to just have a finished product sat here, rotting slowly in the depths of abandoned threads.

Oh, I just remembered that I have this guy: He was made in conjunction with The Buggy, don't know how he slipped under the radar when I looked through my rovers.

True, my speakers are an audio system. The user below me has witnessed the Aurora Borealis.

Granted, there was no longer any terrorists in the past, instead they all time-warp to the current time. We're all now royally screwed. I wish terrorism was properly documented and publicised.

Because they're too hard to turn back on. I mean... Does not compute. Why do I have the urge to turn anything into a euphemism? -
That's more than 3c (3 times the speed of light). Assuming that the outermost parts were flung a whopping 300km from the centre, they would be moving at ~43.4 million km/s. That's ~150c (150 times the speed of light) if my calculations are correct (which they most likely aren't). You have broken physics on a whole new level if these are true.

These images are not official images, as you may have guessed, but are ones that I knocked up as mission flags for my ARM endeavours. I thought that I should share them with the community, as I have not as of yet seen any ARM-specific flags or emblems for such a purpose. The first of the two images is the emblem for a mission - a graphic that I designed with the purpose of looking good on the various parts of a craft that allow the flag to be put on them (such as the SLS parts and the 3-crew module). The second image is the full flag for the purpose of planting one. This is less likely to be used, but may be planted where an asteroid has been safely landed on a body or for general use in any mission, if you so wish to use it in that way. Feel free to save the images and use them in your copy of Kerbal Space Program. A link to a Spaceport upload will be available when I am confident that the images are near-complete or entirely complete. I still have a file that is ready to be tweaked to almost any detail with relative ease, so if you have any suggestions for improvement or want some personalisation for your flag, let me know in the replies. The images themselves may be updated without notice or suggestion if I see potential for improvement. More images may be added to this thread if I decide to make more. You may request a flag to be made by me if you so wish, but I may not be able to get through any for four weeks or so due to work. I'd be happy to make some graphics for people though. More detail about this will be posted in a blog in the near future. A download for the graphics will be available when I'm confident that they are complete. These are the first iterations: The flag: The Emblem: If you use any of these images on the forums or elsewhere, I have no problem with that whatsoever. To reiterate: they are most certainly not complete. I am not entirely happy with how they've turned out, but I can't seem to correct what's wrong with them. If anyone can shed some light on how I can improve them, please do.

Rub it with sandpaper, and finish by throwing rocks at it. The larger the rock the better it cleans. Why can't turtles fly? -
No problem, I'm glad to see that you're still interested in the series. In a month-or-so's time, my ~14 months off begins. That's when the first episode will be started. I can pretty much guarantee that the at least one episode will be posted before the end of June. If not posted, it will be damn-near finished. This is my first experience with writing a series, or any piece of "creative writing" that lasts longer than 600 words, so I'll be allowing myself a few days of polish for each episode. I can assure you that the project has not been abandoned though . See this blog post for a little more on the matter, and be sure to check every now and then to see if I've posted any more of them. The linked blog is the latest.

By opening the door while driving. How do I explosively decompress my car? -
False, I am neutral to it. I'll let my opinion form based on how it treats us. The user below me has never used Curse before.

I see. So things like "The Green Sea" instead of "The Red Sea", "The Billalayas" instead of "The Himalayas", "The Ganjeb River" instead of "The Ganges River" and whatnot? We already have a named mountain - K2, the highest mountain on Kerbin. It's near KSC, I'm sure you'll have heard of it.

You can go "SUPER ASPARAGUS" quite easily with the new update. Though I never use asparagus staging, I do use external tanks. I tend to just treat the SLS parts the same way I treat any other propulsion part - by following these 5 simple steps: Put a bunch of fuel tanks on a powerful engine "That looks like it'll fly!" Launch ??? Profit!

Gilly fo' sho'. Low gravity really limits you, small size also limits you and screws up large modules with bending and misalignment, no flat land. It's also pretty tough to get to with heavy payloads because it takes a fair amount of DeltaV to reach and has a tiny SOI, which you have to reach from Eve orbit.

Planes don't fly, they drive. If you've ever seen a plane flying, it's being done by a wizard. Contact Hogwarts immediately, they have a few on the loose. How do I fly a boat? -
Granted-ish . It is still used in the terms where it is correct, but is no longer used where it is not correct. You also explode. I wish people would English.

You don't. They just watch you all day. Meanwhile in Britain, we drink tea and do what we want free(ish)ly. Why do the NSA try to screw up other countries without permission? -
The RCS tank is, indeed, slightly embedded in the surface. I've got to say, I've never seen this either. It may be to do with your settings. If you have them rather low, the chances are that the texture and collision model are out of alignment for one reason or another. If this is the case, the structure is not embedded in the actual surface. This is a likely possibility, as if any part is under the surface at all it causes the whole thing to fall through due to the way that the game loads parts and planet models. You see, the planet's surface is only a really thin layer of stuff you can actually touch. Above and beneath this is just a load of space. If anything clips through, it falls. It's the same for parts. The lower gravity of the Mun means that your suspension is keeping the little rover higher than on Kerbin. The gravity of Kerbin means that the rover's weight (not to be mistaken for mass) increases, which means that the suspension bears more weight, which in turn means that it sinks further. On the Mun, this effect is reduced. On the other hand, it may be that the part is somehow on a different level to the rover. If this is the case, it's a bug. This post is in the wrong place either way, for future reference you should put things like this in the "Support and Bugs" section. This part of the forum is reserved for suggestions and discussion regarding potential game features. Unfortunately, I can't help you here, but it should be reported to Squad so that they can fix it or explain why it is happening if it is not a bug.

Don't know what A.M. is, not clicking the link, and you can't attack 5 posters at once. I avoid the attack by default. I accidentally sit on a big red button, which activates the nuclear warhead that the next poster is sitting on.

I would build a ring with a circumference that is 5x that of Jool. Then I'd park it in Jool "orbit". Jool would have a ring. A small one, but a ring. A man-made ring. Why not, eh?
-
Granted, but it's a huge, lumbering beast that takes 10 minutes to reach 5 degrees of rotation. I wish I was less bothered about time warping for more than a few in-game days.

It becomes inert. It's the one thing he's good at doing sanely. What happens when Jeb rides a nuclear bomb? -
Granted. MUD... Kip. I wish smaller Youtube channels would actually check if what they're doing is legal (Ie: music use.). See: Creative Commons License.
