  1. Fallout, classic move. I notice that the truffles are poisoned and throw them away. I force the next user to divide by 0.
  2. False. The user below me studied/currently is studying in a form of art/media.
  3. Granted. You are not immune to radiation effects, and slowly die. I wish for a Spore-themed KSP expansion pack .
  4. Granted, but since Krispy Kreme do this in 'Murica on a certain day (don't know if it's "doughnut day" or "Krispy Kreme day"), which results in massive copyright infringement claims on a global scale. Countries are plunged even further into bankruptcy and taxes skyrocket as a result, leaving even the most affluent in poverty. I wish work was less stressful. That would solve some of the world's problems.
  5. Simple: I am wielding a bucket of water. The cat runs, in fear and even more enragement (yep, that's a word now), towards the next poster.
  6. True, but it worked out fine. Possibly the only time a ninja-ing has ever turned out OK. The user below me has visited Moho's poles. You know why.
  7. True, that's only for a user's first 5 posts. You don't gain posts by posting in the Forum Games section, just so you know. The user below me joined before persistence was added (0.14).
  8. ^This. Grab electronics, put an antenna on your craft, make it self-sufficient in terms of energy, take some science experiments to Minmus, maybe 4 of each, and land on different biomes. Do a crew report, EVA report from the surface, and EVA report while jumping. Transmit these 3 for full science. Then go through 1 set of experiments in that biome. Proceed to the next biome and repeat. Bear in mind that launching from the surface of Minmus into an orbit that lands you back onto Kerbin takes a very tiny amount of thrust. For this reason, don't transmit the experiments with <100% transmission recovery. Return to Kerbin, recover the craft, go crazy with your new-found 4000 or so science points.
  9. Try it completely without any mechjeb parts. It might be an older version of the mod being problematic with the new parts (such as Kerbal Engineer - with the new parts, it just decides that they're too confusing and eliminate that stage from calculations. At least in my experience). Are you using an up-to-date version of the mod? Is this version 0.23.5-compatible? Check this for all mods used. I know it's a pain but such is mod installation, eh?
  10. Yep, it is meant to happen. Think of it like the discovery of a new moon that no-one knew was there before because it's too small to see without such advanced technology or something. I had a similar scenario - a class C asteroid captured itself in a near-polar orbit around Kerbin that had an apoasis of ~68000km and a periapsis of ~200km. I daren't rendezvous with it at periapsis, that'd be going damn fast from an orbit like that. And rendezvous at a high altitude means using up some of the fuel that should be used for moving the 'stroid on something as trivial as extending my orbit.
  11. If by "beta games" you mean early-access game, the answer is pretty clear. The user below me has previously backed something on Kickstarter.
  12. The Kerbal Association of Civilisation Help has collaborated with Überkerbal Portage with the intention of expanding the Kerbal race. The project has been coined KACH-UP One, with Überkerbal Portage hoping to advance transportation technology and range for the sake of productivity and tourism and the kerbonationally recognised Kerbal Association of Civilisation Help aiming to give the many nations on Kerbin that little push they need to branch out to the great black yonder - space. However, project cannot be completed without the assistance of a well-renowned space agency, of course. This is where you come in You have been tasked to create a base on Mun. The aim of this base is to house as many Kerbals as possible, with as many bonuses as possible. It will act as kerbalkind's first city out of Kerbin's atmosphere, with a bustling population of many Kerbals living in and visiting the area. Here are the requirements for the project: There must be a central structure for the town that includes a science centre (laboratory module) for any experiments that the citizens and workers acquire on the Mun. A flag must be planted beneath the science centre and labelled "KACH-UP One". This flag is to be regarded as the centre of the base. There must be a power station in the base with the capacity to store at least 100 units of energy per kerbal, alongside a base value of 2000 units for the essential services listed in these requirements, at all times. You may have as much excess energy as you wish. There must be at least 3 kerbals within 2KM of the centre of the base at all times. The base must be able to communicate with KSC at all times. This means that there must always be a part that can transmit data (such as a communotron) in a deployed state, and this module must have at least 1 kerbal inside at all times. Transmissions can be relayed over several satellites. Though not all modules need to be connected, they must be within 20m of the nearest module if they are not connected directly. All of the above are necessary to the base. If even a single one of these components are missing, the base is a failure. The following are extra bonuses: Kerbal inhabitants. (1pt)* Unmanned land vehicles that can; continue to travel at night, (1pt)* and/or travel constantly without the need to stop and regain energy. (1pt)* Drivable land vehicles - vehicles that require a kerbal in order to be active). (1pt)* [*]Non-surface transportation - vehicles that fly rather than drive (minimum capacity of 4 plus a driver (5 total)). (2pt) [*]Garage/hangar. (2pt)* [*]Hotels (minimum capacity of 12). (2pt)*(+1) [*]Broadcasting tower (must include at least 3 communotrons) (3pt) [*]Other structures. (Variable pt) [*]Pioneering advancements (a bonus for building and sharing something that is not yet listed here). (5pt) (<#>pt) = how many points are earned by the completion of this task (where <#> is the number of points). * = per item in question (eg: "Kerbal inhabitants. (1pt)*" means that you receive one point per kerbal in the base.) (+<#>) = Points per Kerbal that can be stored in the item at any given point in time (eg: "Hotels (minimum capacity of 12). (2pt)*(+1)" means that a user receives two points per hotel and one point per kerbal that can fit in the hotel.) (Variable pt) = anything you have in the base that is not listed will be reviewed from screenshots and reported usability in order to determine how many points it is worth. The base may expand to further than 2KM from the centre of the base, provided that there are at least 3 Kerbals within the 2KM range. You can use as many mods as you like, given that you produce a list every mod you used in your submission.
  13. It's T1? Isn't T1 the lowest habitable tier? It is the lowest habitable tier. Huh, that's unexpected.
  14. Because there is no attack, I simply lie on a comfortable seat out in the tropics somewhere on the beach of a little island. In the meantime, my pet mechsuit pummeling the next user.
  15. The Spore galaxy does this: in every game of Spore, one of the solar systems is always the one that we live in (in real life). You can literally settle on Earth, because its just a T3 creature-stage planet as far as I know. I don't know if the rest of it is randomised, but I'm still yet to find Earth in my Spore saves. Maybe you should be able to find Earth when (if) interstellar travel gets implemented later in development.
  16. Granted, your body constantly tingles in that way it does when you lose circulation. You know, the really awful one? That one. I wish I could science more so that my modular base could have more parts.
  17. My house has a button that drags it underground, unharmed and out of the way. Your car drives over my roof, which acts like a ramp and pings you off into the conveniently placed ocean nearby. I build a boat out the side-mounted intakes and drop it onto the next user, who also happens to be in the conveniently placed ocean but is in the shallow bit. Unlucky, chum.
  18. True, because you just told me. The user below me would rather have a pampered moose than a pamplemousse.
  19. The granting fairy smites you. I wish there was some thread tape lying around here!
  20. That's a risky move... Let's not. This, I like. Got a nice little bit of Kerbal Mythology thrown in there. Let's not be boring. Yeah, very slow. Say, a few million/billion years. Not a chance. The odds of a star impacting Earth or anything in the Solar system are so minute that you're more likely to win the lottery. Chances are, the galaxy collision won't even affect us. It'll just look really awesome . Yeah, I like the idea of the name being morphed through generations. It would probably be in some ancient Kerbal tongue, I would think. Maybe "Skyswipe" or "Kerbolpass", something that's essentially WYSIWYG in the tongue of the ancient kerbal. Again, possibly blurred through the ages by misspellings, mistranslations, and misspeaking. For example, "Skyswipe" becomes "Skaisuipo" or "Sqaesweyp". I'm not great with these things. EDIT: On the topic of the name being distorted by history, maybe "Sacred Strut" could become something like "Sacrestut" etc.
  21. Granted, but the bee joke was never funny. I wish I understood why so many people are going out of their way to derail the thread with bees.
  22. 431: put an animatronic person in front of the automatic doors, so that his flailing keeps them opening.
  23. My Zoltan shields are up, nothing can get past that. Ever. I ram into the next user, vaporising them with the shield.
  24. Electrical propellers would give the game huge scope - they could be used for hovercraft, planes, boats, and crazy recreational things like a kerbal launcher. I'm sure people like Danny2462 and Whackjob could come up with some "alternative" uses for them, too. These parts would also add a new element to VTOL's. I, personally, would like to see them implemented.
  25. I acquire my high-tech frying pan and beat the guy down. I then fry up and force-feed to the next user the remains of the now dead zombie/man.
