  1. I'll be interested to see how that "plant a flag on Eve" contract pans out in the future. A one-way trip would be greatly frowned upon...
  2. You know you're a nerd when you find trigonometry fascinating.
  3. Just to be clear, I want you guys to answer the poll based on what is your favorite geologic period in terms of how awesome/interesting/etc it is, NOT literally by how "cool" it is in terms if temperature. I'm pretty sure you're not doing it, and Snowball Earth is cool and all, and I can see why they're awesome, but I'm just making sure. I want legitimate answers!
  4. Granted, but all education programs stagnate instead and the only educated people are the ones who were in the space program already. I wish the Magellanic Clouds were visible in the northern hemisphere.
  5. Granted, they settle it by putting everyone who ever mentioned it in a cave with no information on how to get out. I wish I could speak Russian as well as my current languages.
  6. I really shouldn't do this *again*, but it's just so great... Shurnarkabtishashutu!
  7. Unfortunately, the probe also cannot get to that parallel universe, and accidentally ends up in one where the speed of light is 12 m/s. I launch an impact probe into Minmus.
  8. ...is being mended by a Nyan cat with a celestial needle and a string wound from the protoplanetary accretion discs of newborn stars. The tree house...
  9. Banned for excessive punctuation in sig.
  10. It's ok. I had a bunch of homework due tomorrow, but I got it all done. Now I can focus on the big reading project due later this month!
  11. What is your favorite geologic period? I like the Cambrian for the huge explosion of diversity, but giant arthropods make the Carboniferous hard to beat. Explain your favorites here!
  12. I noticed that I had a new dot (bringing me up to four) once I got to 500 posts. Based on a few looks, it seems that the thresholds are probably: 0-9 posts: 1 dot 10-99 posts: 2 dots 100-499 posts: 3 dots 500-999 posts: 4 dots 1000+ posts: 5 dots, 4 in that giant scary prison pyramid.
  13. And also to those of us who can't play RSS because the tilted ecliptic bugs the crap out of us.
  14. Maybe a different dwarf planet between Duna and Jool could have extremely high axial tilt. Right now there's almost nothing in that space.
  15. You can switch between polar and equatorial transfers with just a few m/s when coming in from an interplanetary transfer. It wouldn't be all that hard, but definitely would be interesting. Maybe a couple of small moons in a resonance? The big problem here is that KSP doesn't simulate axial tilt. That is the first thing that has to change in order to even make this possible.
  16. Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. I've been stressed too much to think lately.
  17. I could have sworn there were noodles in it before...WHERE DID MY SLIME MOLD GO??! Waiter, there's a hagfish in my soup!
  18. Magic propulsion works by shooting top hats with secret compartments out the back of the ship using an air cannon, which doesn't work in space and doesn't go very far anyways. I try to play soccer on Duna.
  19. Is actually not secret at all, has a Facebook and Twitter page, and GPS receivers and a website where you can track it's its location as it floats around on balloons. The car factory...
  20. Granted, I hope you like pure ketchup for breakfast. I wish I could stop time so I can have more time to work on school projects.
  21. Banned for interpreting a non-paradox as a paradox.
  22. Actually, that would be Imperfect Lock, not No Time For Caution.
