Insomnia? Baseball bat delivered swiftly to your noggin will knock you right out! Diarrhea? Put a cork in it! Constipation? A game of Russian Roulette will loosen everything up! Existential crisis forcing you to confront and question the nature of your own reality? Don't stop. Nothing is what it seems, you've been right all along. Don't ignore this, it's meant for you specifically. Don't trust the full moon, this will all make sense at the end, or nothing will. They're watching you. Stubbed your toe? Punching the nearest person in the face will help take your mind off the pain! Don't like doing laundry? Then don't! Just buy new clothes every week!

Vana who? Vana White? Oh @Vanamonde! Yeah, you're probably right. Wait. What? Crap.

After a string of successful V2 launches, we finally unlocked early orbital rocketry, which means its time to do some test launches to get those engines ready for when the avionics for our first satellite become available! Mission 3: Test Launch the Stratos Launch Vehicle which hopefully will carry out first satellite to orbit in the near future. Rocket consists of a RD-103 first stage, an AJ-10 Early series second stage, and an Aerobee AJ-10 config third stage. First attempts were without avionics, tried just leaning it a little to the east and letting thrust and gravity take care of the rest. Unfortunately, rocket kept deciding it wanted to go west instead, threatening the lives of many of Floridians. Had to range safety those launches shortly after lift off so we wouldn't have a spent stage land in someone's backyard. Next attempts included 2 V2 avionics, one for each of the first two stages. This worked well, but the first attempt with this configuration had batteries on the final stage run out before I could ignite it. So I added a small battery to the top of the final stage. On the second attempt, my AJ-10 failed halfway through the burn. The aerobee burned just fine though, resulting in a final altitude of 2,700+ KM. Would have been a bit more if that AJ-10 had burned all of its fuel. http://imgur.com/a/AU5nC Anyway, by now we have unlocked early avionics, which means the next mission will be our first orbital satellite attempts!

When life gives you lemons, name one "Liz Lemon", then ask it stupid questions using your best Tracy Morgan in 30 Rock impression: "Liz Lemon, why did life give me lemons? What am I supposed to do with a bunch of lemons, Liz Lemon?"

So, the plain jane V2 was not good enough to get me the medium sounding rocket contracts (which are pretty much the only contracts I can reasonably do until the new tech unlocks), so I made a V2 with an aerobee second stage that took me from 200 km with standard V2 to 900 km with the V2-Aero. http://imgur.com/a/iNacj That should at least keep some funds trickling in until the tech unlocks for bigger and better things.

I'm totally going to start over when RSS/RO/RP-0 is ready for 1.2, but I can't wait. I want to share these missions here incase anyone has comments or advice. First mission I'm posting is a V2 science rocket. 3 bio samples, thermometer, barometer. Gotta unlock that tech! Not going to post for every launch as I'll probably be launching similar V2s (without the bio samples and chutes, cuz I already got that) until the tech unlocks. And I don't know how to post imgur albums since they are broken right now, so here's a link: http://imgur.com/a/aQ6HB Maybe the moderators can embed it for me?

Nope @Ultimate Steve

Launch a one stage v2 with thermometer, barometer, and three bio samples. Put a chute, a decoupler and fairing on there to reduce drag, protect the science, and detach and recover avionics with science. That gives you plenty of science to unlock first tier Tech which will give you better avionics and better engines to get higher and even get to orbit. No real reason to use aerobees until you unlock that first tier rocketry and can upgrade them. All it takes is one v2 launch with all that science. Transmit the temp and pressure for low, high, and space, recover bio samples for the same, and you have all the science you need to unlock and progress. Here's an album with pictures: http://imgur.com/a/aQ6HB Use that and you'll have plenty of science to unlock first tier tech.

What do you call two parallel platforms that extend from the shore to the water and intersect? A pair o' docks. A book just fell on my head....I only have myshelf to blame.

5/10 - Avatar is indeed a sandwich, but sandwich's smile denotes a noticeable lack of rage.

Console Patches Update Discussion

I can. I agree, they should have a section of the devnote for console versions, but it definitely should NOT be the PRIMARY focus. -

Really? Seems like you've tried to include an offense to PC players in at least 50% of your posts on this thread so far. How many infractions did you just get this last hour? And you just called us condescending. You're the one doing all the insults! -
Console Patches Update Discussion

Their squabbles may be legitimate, but the way they are carrying on is immature and toxic. Not to mention several comments have been made insulting the PC users, which make up the majority of the forum, so they are not going to make friends and get people on their side that way. -
When life gives you lemons, go to life's forums and whine about it over and over again on life's devnotes section until life takes away your lemons.

Console Patches Update Discussion
EliasDanger replied to James M's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (Console)
I want a refund for No Mans Sky, but I don't expect to get one. Most of me blames myself for not waiting to see what the reviews for the game said before giving Hello Games my money. Lesson to learn is, don't buy games before making sure they work first. Only way studios will stop releasing unfinished or unoptimized products. -

I'm sure you can find a thread in the console forum section, and if you can't, feel free to start one. We should be discussing the devnotes here, not telling Squad their console port sucks and they should remove it. But, I'm not a moderator, so I'mma stop arguing with you over it. -

Seriously not the place to have that discussion, and there's no point repeating yourself. -
@Xannari Ferrows, I just wanna kick back on my couch and play some Zelda like I did when I was young. But Nintendo's unconventional and innovative hardware designs scare and confuse me. What the heck is an Ameebo? Why does the controller come in a bunch of different pieces? Why did they make all the hardware fit in a tablet when they could have fit better hardware for cheaper into a regular console? Get off my lawn, Nintendo! Keep your Zelda, it's not worth it!
-
Why does Nintendo insist on being so weird with their hardware? I haven't bought anything Nintendo in decades because I am old school and they make me feel alienated. Always weird controllers, multiple screens, and inferior performance capability compared to the competition. Wish they would get back to basics.

When life gives you lemons, make lemon juice. Then mix with two parts monkshood, one eye of the newt, and the oil of an extra virgin olive...spread over the forum games message board and repeat the phrase "Klaatu Verata Ne..." crap I forgot the last word...um....hang on.... "Klaatu Verata Nekker?" No "Klaatu Verata Nedry?" Nooo. I've got it! "Klaatu Verata Necktu!" That's it. Then laugh maniacally as you raise an old thread from the dead. Bwahahahahahahhaaha!

You might see KSP related things...but the main topics of all the threads in the lounge are not about KSP itself.
-
The lounge is for discussing anything BUT KSP. So this discussion belongs here.

It's okay to click. The thread is locked so you can't even post here, so don't worry, no one knows you clicked.

Way off. @Frybert
