  1. I traveled quite a long way by submarine, while it can seem boring at first it is actually pretty interesting, you can find stuff like the deep sea glitch and some places where surface landscape is under water (Kerbin global heating?)
  2. I play guitar, bass, a bit of tin whistle and im trying to get a cornet. I also build my own instruments (im the middle of making a nice fretless bass) Proof, im the guy with the bass And the cornet I want http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2016/26/1467365194-dsc-9250.jpg I just have to convince my aunt to give it to me, right now it's collecting dust.
  3. My long range refueling plane cruises at around 18km high at around 1000m/s, but the thing is heavy so it takes a while to get there. I did some suborbital space jumps with planes but im pretty sure everyone did that, other than that I have a few fighters that can fly between 20 and 25km but the power output is really low at that altitude so for long distance I try to go down to around 15km, pick up speed and go over 26km (when the jets engines cut) and fly with my inertia, then I repeat)
  4. I did a burn to capture in Jool orbit with two ions at 0.4kn each, it took a few hours and I used cheats to finish it because it was taking too damn long. Friendly advice, one gigantor solar array is enough per ion drive up to Duna, do not go beyond.
  5. Doing big interplanetary missions, I spend too much time planning and testing the vessels and get bored.

O2 burns too well but I made some good hydrogen engines, even some NERVAS
  7. You could probably try to go to a geosynch orbit, however a geosynch orbit is always equatorial but given the altitude you should get a lot of coverage, unless you have a specified altitude.
  8. Submited for the open beta, that game looks cool and I wanted to play a space builder for ages.
  9. RC planes too, music and making stuff (all of those mix pretty well)
  10. When you have no problem converting speeds into meters per second. That actually helps
  11. I played quite a lot of Fallout 4 lately, also some TF2 and minecraft.
  12. Really I would not recommend playing robocraft until it gets better (which might never happen) I would instead recommend Double Action: Boogaloo it is free, pretty small and perfect to kill time. Also no purchases in games, only "skills" if we can talk of skills in this game.
  13. Is that a good or bad thing? I would say bad. Before you had to earn points in battle to unlock parts, you had to choose the parts wisely and then build accordingly. Now it's pointless to play.
  14. I played it like a year ago, it was great but then the devs decided to make it pay to win, change most of the game (which was a very bad idea) and basically screw with all the veterans just to make the game "more accessible" and now this game that was wonderful is pure garbage.
  15. On my old computer I got a BSOD while playing portal 2 in coop, then I got 4 in the following years. The latest one streaming ksp in fact. It must have been the ram, I have a new computer and no problem so far.
  16. Pretty much everything, quite a lot of heavy and folk metal but I also really like ska-punk and electronic music too.
  17. You know there are maker faires all around the world right? You need to be more precise.
  18. Repurposing a motor from a cheap helicopter won't work, it's very likely it's an old and cheap brushed motor and that makes two problems: -You need a brushed ESC which is old tech now -you will never get enough thrust Be kind to yourself and get some proper power system, also going with ducted fan is nice but unless you already have some experience with RC planes you will have a hard time. Ducted fans usually have low static thrust but high dynamic thrust (for the ones with and under 5 blades) also no prop wash over the control surfaces so a stall is bad news. However you could do that Aeris 3a with a pusher prop, that could work, also a motor with a prop is usually cheaper than a ducted fan. Also you want to go lipo, it has some bad sides but it's easily compensated by the benefits: high power density, high discharge rate, light. As long as you use them correctly it's not a problem. I will keep an eye on this project, I have been thinking about doing something similar.
  19. Quick question about the mirv, it says it is GPS guided but is the warhead guided only (like, you fly a rocket over you target, and then tell the mirv to do the rest) or can it fly all the way to the target alone (with maybe the missile guidance thing)?
  20. It's really more about the challenge, and I did 1200km with a submarine so im pretty sure this will be way less boring. Also I think it might be easier than with a rover because kerbals don't lose grip, then drift and tumble down the mountain (at least not easily as rovers) Also I think there is a good chance at some point we will do something else.
  21. Cats, they can take care of themselves. But I do know a dog that is a kitten inside look at dat kitten
  22. I like them, one gigantor solar array is enough to power one ion drive up to Duna, after that not so much. Trust me, I tried an orbital insertion around Jool with two drives running at 0.2kn each.
  23. I tried to connect using KiwiIRC and I have the same problem, it says "connecting" and shows 0 users. Maybe related to the spammers attack from yesterday?
