I have made 3 boats so far, 2 jet propelled, and one made using KAX electric propellers. All of them are slow, so I'm working on new propulsion methods, or new ways to decrease drag. I'll post screenshots soon. Additionally, I'm working on an aircraft carrier, and a flagship.

I would honestly recommend using OPT, since the air-augmented rockets make everything easier, but even without them, SSTOs with large wings and high vacuum thrust are still pretty functional. If you are really having trouble with overheating, as I was, I suggest attaching heat shields inline, or using radial attach nodes and the offset tool. It's odd bordering on comical, but it is fairly effective.

There needs to be KSP PVP.

1.0.5 gave us re-calibrated buoyancy. Now I propose... The Kerbal Boat program! This thread is meant for the design, discussion and sharing of boats. Buoyancy is pretty easy, just slap on some empty tanks or structural fuselages. Propulsion is harder, you'll need jets or some bizarre strut configuration using KAS. Once we get that figured out, it's just a matter of building, improving, and immensely, hilariously overdoing it. So let's get boating!

Granted, but one monitor displays an endless loop of the star wars holiday special. Even when off or unplugged. It cannot be muted. I wish I could figure out how to make a boat.

Made boat. Boat did not work because wheels don't work in water.

Made an escape pod for my space station. Forgot parachutes and heat shields.

Does this mod add life support? I will probably get it if it doesn't.
