Today was the biggest disaster in my Space Program's history. We attempted to land the largest rover ever launched on Slate, in orbit of Sarnus. It impacted the surface at 2000 m/s, so uh...we miscalculated something, and lost some of our most distinguished Kerbonauts. RIP: Karjorie, Roette, Kervy, Karelyn, Charlie, Kasy, Joice.

It doesnt take KSP to know that Kowalski's end was laughable.

Some kind of mobile base, it has a lot of issues on eve, like the little scout ship not being able to re-dock with the main rover, due to the tiny worthless engines not being able to lift it, or fly around at all for that matter! I'd call it a work-in-progress, but I really don't want to go through the hell that was launching this thing again, and especially not building a landing system for non atmospheric worlds.

I pranked a scientist by telling him he could fly a wobbly rocket because it had a probe core on it, which It did. that wasnt the prank though, it was just to distract him from the 8 parachutes that went off with the first stage, sending him ramming into the ground in a huge fireball, killing him instantly. hilarious.

I use my recruited veterans. Bill is the only orange suit I have left, so he chills on the station, with occasional visits to the Mun(station). He's banned from landings.

This is Kerrica Kerman, she is dead. I was trying to put a new solar array on my station orbiting the mun, but douched it up so badly that i ran out of RCS fuel. with only the reliant left, and the array drifting and misaligned, i decided to just crash the S.O.B. for causing me such aggravation. immediately after the "Z" button, i realized Kerrica was still onboard. I looked back to the station, still within reach, so she EVA'd...right into the stabilizer. the craft and the poor kerbal move slowly toward the collision, as i watch sadly. as i'm looking around feeling terrible, I notice her expression has changed. huh? "R" shes alive?! I guess she just got knocked silly by the wing, and came back to her senses. I blasted the RCS and JUST barely missed the surface at 8.5k. and then a node maneuver with the remaining jetpack fuel. and so, a kerbal is saved from certain death. question, are kerbals always alive if they havent been vaporized?

don't EVA after a crash if the door is facing the surface gimballed rockets will murder your ship if attached radially without some space between the spock rule: the wellbeing of the many outweigh the wellbeing of the one. sorry Fredgun. if anyone has some rules of thumb for wrestling an asteroid back to Kerbin I'd love to hear it.

Ralie Kerman, the first female Kerbal on the Mun and Minmus, was killed with Sonbree Kerman when their lander ran out of fuel before achieving radial trajectory over minmus. their science lab disconnected from the main ship on impact and rolled down a slope before exploding. the Pilot, Racine Kerman, was rescued.

They get paid in snacks, and more dangerous missions.

I landed on Eve for the first time. my craft looks a lot like the one above by @MagicFireCaster, only much uglier.

Racine was going to Minmus to retrieve Ralie and Sonbree so Ralie could pilot the upcoming Laythe mission. after packing the two into the science pod they took off, but apparently Racine was jealous about being passed over for Laythe. on ascent I discovered that 1 of the 4 engines was shutdown as the ship pitched into the ground and broke apart. Racine's command module skipped a little bit and easily survived. Ralie and Sonbree however, still had a burning engine attached for their piece of debris, and went whooshing out of control until running out of fuel. they survived another impact, and began their high speed "downhill oil drum" ride, until finally exploding.

Sort of like a mobile home, that never went anywhere. Hmm.

Wildas Kerman just landed on Duna last week.

I'm a new player, and know exactly nothing about modding so this may be a dumb question, where does the landing gear go? I've tried everything and can't figure out how to attach it to these modules in any kind of stable way. nevermind, you put them on the ends or connection parts. this problem was solved by looking at pictures. yay pictures

landed on Moho. And by landed i mean touched down and tipped over, causing a pylon to explode and a few solar panels to rip off. everyone is alive, but the Kara Thrace isnt going anywhere after this one.
