  1. I know right, some of these Kerbals are so unpunny
  2. Roughly anyway, besides, this isn't a working rocket they're trying to launch, it's a bunch of documents. Watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s9UXXAmlTg
  3. You'd be an engineer or an astronaut, there aren't any cities, so you'd have a pretty cool lifestyle... Blowing stuff up for fun, and/or riding on those said explosions.
  4. I'm not 100% Sure, so don't quote me, but I think they have really efficient gravity turns, precise engine burns, and are burning below the horizon (Sometimes), so they can go into orbit almost immediately after getting into space, I haven't done that in KSP, but I have made really shallow gravity turns, and have a really long arc, where I go really far, I don't go into orbit (No fuel), but maybe that's how they do it.
  5. I think It'd be easier to blow up a nuclear bomb next to it Project Orion style to push it off course. But if the public (And UN) had a firm no no (Which we'd probably break regardless), I think it'd be a good idea, but only if the two Asteroids were made up of metal, otherwise, you'd f*** up the world by spreading the damage, with even more Asteroid. Or if the Asteroid was really, really big and close, yeah... the Asteroid into Asteroid thing would probably be the best course of action.
  6. The engineers forgot to correct a gimballing engine... That was pointed to the side. Your rocket races to the VAB, RUDing it.
  7. Here are some Aerospace engineer ones What KSP players are like vvvvv And finally,
  8. This is promising And my favorite:
  9. @AngelLestat Um.. This is kinda similar: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/128725-im-pretty-sure-spacex-put-ula-out-of-business-to-some-degree/)
  10. Elon Musk says he plans to reveal the mars colony architecture some time around the International Astronautic Congress this September! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIRqB5iqWA8&index=109&list=WL) He says it around the 30 min 15 sec mark, although, I recommend watching the whole thing, because.. Elon Musk.
  11. The future of mankind belongs to those who wonder what's over the next hill, who take risks, even if they are great, who take the next step for mankind, and who yearn for the human race to become more, if we are not like that, how can we call ourselves human? Lets remember the crews of Apollo 1, Challenger, and Colombia, and honor them, not just by saying nice words, but by exploring deep space, by climbing over the next hill, and by taking the first step for humanity's expansion into the Cosmo's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq7f97dtmR4
  12. As far as I know there isn't any thread dedicated to |Showing Off Your Creations| in Universe Sandbox 2, only discussing the new releases (So if that counts as a "SOYC" thread, the mods are free to merge the posts) , so I'm making one. Here's some of my creations (That will be updated):
  13. New stats for the rouge planets (It lasted for 77330 years): Fredinnus: 3.4x the mass of Earth | 9087 km | 1.67 g | -272 c | Day/Night cycle, 5.5 days | Albedo .27 | Materials: Iron 23.2%, Silicate 76.4%, Water .4% (Think of it as nitrogen, ammonia, carbon dioxide, etc, etc ices from a collapsed atmosphere that collapsed shortly after its formation) | Magnetic field, 1.2 Gauss | Chrisplance: Basically an oversized Jupiter | 2.1x the mass of Jupiter | -240 c | Silverstrivler: .75x the mass of Earth | 7355 km | .563 g | -272 c | Day/Night cycle, 30.4 days | Albedo .21 | Materials: Iron 20.5%, Silicate 29.8%, Water 49.7% |
  14. It's a really cheap KSP, without zoomout, close-up ship view, and good graphics, otherwise, it's good, but nowhere near great.
  15. When not only the game starts lagging, but the music lags as well. And when, In one ship, you're capable of going to all of the planets and moons in the solar system... Twice over.... With one launch... Without infinite fuel.
