Admiral Fluffy: adsii1970
Me, who hasn't been logged on the forums in almost 3 years: "I'm about to end this man's whole career." Hahaha XD
Since we are trying to summon this person though. @adsii1970 Will you be our lucky next participant?
I decided to do some more artwork:
These two I decided to see if I could do atmospheric styles and I'm actually quite proud of these two.
This was my attempt at trying to make a realistic looking... Pan. I don't think I did badly but you can decide on that.
This one is my latest. This one pretty much got me thinking to start looking up Digital Painting and techniques. I plan on getting a Wacom Tablet and will move from GIMP to Photoshop CC.
I like the clouds and the sunset portion of it as well as certain aspects of the shading (Shadows) but I am not so fond of the flatness and 'child-like' feel of the artwork. That's what mainly got me to start looking up proper Digital Artwork stuff.
To change speed, simply use the mouse scroll wheel. you can go from 0.10 cm per second to 327 Million light years per second and also press w,a,s or d for forward, left, backward, right movement.
0.990 Really will have decent graphics but I think its more Decent graphics of it's type. It's not a game, it's an engine or more broadly, a simulation.
I know spaceships do but that isn't the main part of the program. I was more talking about astronomical objects like stars and planets not having N-body.
I guess I'll show off my own artwork:
This was my first piece I made and I liked it so much, I decided to just trial and error with ways to make something look like a planet. The fact this that even if it looks like it, I used no external textures for any of these.
Here's some more of my artwork:
This one has a place in my heart for just being... an inspiration even though I made it.
This one was special because I deliberately used bump map to make the cracks actually look somewhat like cracks.
This one was the pinnacle of my first batch of artwork type. Four moons with different texturing (and still kept procedural within the confines of GIMP).
This isn't my favourite. It was more of a testbed and at this point I started to not like the look of some aspects of my artwork so I decided to change things a bit.
This one was the last one in my first artwork type that I made. I liked it because of it's realisitic feeling to it (Bar the slightly off shadow).
This one was the first of my new artwork type. I worked on the shadows and atmospheres plus certain aspects of bump mapping and texturing for enhancement and this is still another favourite of mine
I actually tried out two different atmospheric looks to see which one I liked better (I choose the ice moon). The favourite part about this one is the gas jets coming from the moon.
At one point, I started to try to make detailed stars which I thought I did quite well. I did use them in some of my artwork like...
...This one which was more of a test as to see if I could make non-planetary things.
This one is by FAR my most favourite artwork of all time. It is just different from what I usually do and yet it turned out quite good.
I haven't done any artwork for a while but I feel like getting back into it.
