'three people with a lot of strength' -- soon to become a pile of carbon atoms in the middle of a huge crater.

of course it has air In the atmosphere, 'air' just means gasses in atmospheres. the water on laythe must be ammonia rich/very salty for it to not freeze. laythe seems to be like earth 3,000,000,000 years ago. when you run an atmosphere analysis on laythe, it says the air is similar to kerbins, and it wont kill you... very quickly. the air may have some sort of bacteria, or may have lots of ozone near sea level. when you do an EVA report on laythe it says that you take your helmet off, but you do not die. the air could have lots of ammonia from the water, which may be dangerous. I did some research on the temperature of Europa (since Europa seems like a frozen laythe, and is close to Jupiter, its temperature is -160C) , and greenhouse warming, and this is how hot laythe should be: -160 + 30 = 130 degrees Celsius. I'll add an extra 10C for uranium inside laythe, so then get 120, and add another 20c for being tidally locked, so laythe with an earth like atmosphere should be -100c. laythe could have a 10% carbon dioxide atmosphere, which would account for the mild toxicity, and would account for (probably) 10 more degrees of warming. since jool is closer to its sun than Jupiter, I will increase that temperature by a further 20c. -70c. if anyone could calculate how much ammonia/salt is needed for laythes oceans to be liquid. Laythe reminds me of a colder and smaller and moonier (is that even a word) version of Kepler62f. P.S, Kepler62F is my favourite planet

star wars is definitely NOT scientifically accurate. unless the death star launches hundreds of millions of huge nuclear bombs, and is made out of carbon-fibre, no.

dry ice then, and I designed this for space, I never thought of using it for mars. dry ice would not clog up the tube since it would be instantly vaporised by the lasers. I chose lasers because they may use lots of electricity, but would heat up the dry-ice very quickly, and vaporise it. and this is definitely not to be used on Venus, the gravity is way too high. and I would still need a bit of pressurization since otherwise the CO2 would not be sucked out. I will use dry ice pellets, not bricks, since they should be easier to pump. and, if there will be a mod there should DEFINATELY be a carbon dioxide extractor and Dry ice maker.

I am not sure any organization is working on it. I thought of this idea a couple months ago, and all that time I have been researching on how to improve it. and, this is an explanation of how it works: the carbon dioxide is pumped into a compressor, where it is compressed into liquid form. the liquid CO2 is pumped into tanks, where it will be stored for later. if the engine is activated, the stored CO2 will be shot out of the tank, and into a long tube. inside the tube the vacuum outside will suck the carbon dioxide out, and while the CO2 is being sucked out, high-power lasers shoot at the CO2, propelling it more. optionally you could put in a small amount of conventional rocket fuel, which would explode (oxidizer needed for that), and generate thrust as well as accelerating the CO2 even more.
-
I was thinking of long tubes which shoot out liquid CO2, the vacuum outside would suck out the carbon-dioxide, and lasers would help propel the CO2. I am very scientific, and Most of my ideas apply to the laws of physics.
-
it is a real-life possibility, carbon dioxide at high pressures will generate reasonable amounts of thrust, but only in a vacuum. lasers would help as well. I had the idea when thinking of a use for waste carbon dioxide in craft, so I thought of this. Thanks! Ill download the mod when it is realeased

[1.10.0] Final Frontier - kerbal individual merits 1.10.0-3485
Ackoli replied to Nereid's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
how do I get the ribbons when I post? I've seen it lots of times. -
carbon-dioxide fuelled engines. they magicaly shoot out lazors to push the carbon diwoxide they shoot out lasers to propel the carbon dioxide.

To What Extent do Astronauts Pilot Rockets?
Ackoli replied to Sanic's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I think it depends how far away the object is. -
actually gas giants do have surfaces, very deep down, but they have insane temperatures and pressures. impossible to land without ripping off the atmosphere.
-
it should definitely be added. but with vasmirs, there will have to be hyperlarge solar panels/large nuclear reactors.

[1.0.5] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.0.2 Released!
Ackoli replied to Nils277's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
if you download TAC life support with this you will get around 20 new epic parts. very good mod, but you will probably need another mod to move the bases to their destinations. (VASMIR engines would work) also, you should add some sort of powerful efficient engine, to transport engines. -
[1.0.5] Kerbal Planetary Base Systems v1.0.2 Released!
Ackoli replied to Nils277's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
use massive VASMIR engines to transport that. -
nearly all of the KSP engines are chemical/fossil fuel except the ion engine. there should be a couple new (and non-new) resources added to the game. the resources are the following: hydrogen, carbon dioxide and argon. hydrogen can be converted to liquid fuel but its fuel tanks are very expensive (since hydrogen is hard to pressurize). carbon dioxide (use the resource from TAC life support) will have very cheap fuel containers (carbon dioxide is easy to pressurize), but will weigh more than normal fuel. argon, as a resource, will be cheap, but fuel tanks will be expensive. please note that carbon dioxide should be free. there should be VASMIR engines for argon and hydrogen, hydrogen producing more thrust in the atmosphere but more expensive. the carbon dioxide will have acceleration tubes as engines, lasers accelerating the CO2 (thus using electricity). the carbon dioxide acceleration tubes will have a medium price and they will barely make any thrust at sea level, but will produce lots of thrust in space. the VASMIR engines will also use electricity. and there should be a part which converts hydrogen and carbon dioxide into fuel, oxidizer and ore. I have also invented an agency for those parts: AC space industries (there flag is AC in green next to a picture of a futuristic rocket). I have listed their stats: mentality = stern 0.9 mentality = scientific 1.0 mentality = moral 0.1 mentality = pioneer 0.9 mentality = industrial 0.8
