A fix has been posted for this a page or two back, leaflet was faulty.
Not working for me, I'm using houston. Don't know why it's not working for Houston (tried new leaflet fix thing with new map)

Are we gonna be having the Week in Report thing on the 7th or is there gonna be a longer wait this time around?

no idea. Could be weeks, could be months. I plan to aim for weeks, we'll see how it goes.
Ah, okay. Good luck on the tracker thing (again haha)

welp, haven't put any time into hyperbolic orbits or ring displays but if anyone wants to play around with a more interactive web version I have my new Ops Tracker updated with a complete set of features for handling planet orbital display, selection and dynamic loading of vessels. Check it out here.
You still keeping tabs on this at all @Syntax?
Once the Ops Tracker is complete (hopefully by start of 2018) I plan to build a similar page but for the purpose of allowing anyone to load in orbits to show. So using URL parameters you could visualize what your KSP orbits look like through import of SFS data, and also control time and stuff.
Awesome! When do you expect the "similar page" to be completed?

I'm 60% sure this can be done with a mod. I don't know the limits though

I am a newcomer to this mod, so forgive me for asking something that may be obvious to old timers...
What is the current status of this mod with respect to KSP 1.3 ? Does it work reliably? And a best download link? Because there are several.
Not being updated as far as I know but @AntiSol was nice enough to recompile it. The recompile works fine, https://antisol.org/Telemachus-1.3.zip <--- That's the best download link (From AntiSol)

I'm unfollowing this thread because I'm tired of people asking questions for which the answers are visible on the current page.
If anyone wants me to recompile for a newer version at any point, pm me.
I said nevermind if that helps.

Does anyone know how to get "Houston" map to work? (In ground track section) This is what I get
-
Hello, does anyone know if "Houston" for telemachus will be updated? And does anyone know if telemachus will be updated for 1.3.x?
EDIT: Nevermind, 5 posts above answered both questions
-
Nevermind! I found out reverting back to 0.320 and turning on "Draw atmosphere ontop of EVE clouds" (Or the similar named thing, too lazy to exactly qoute it) it works perfectly fine. Thanks for your beautiful and amazing mod!
-
I get the halo still, (Forgot to load the atmosphere with scatterer) and also things are just so wrong. 0.0322 dev

@Mr. Quark Hint: it will survive for quite a bit of time if you will not switch to it when it's below 70 Km.
Unloaded objects are on-rails in KSP, so even with Pe in the atmosphere, craft will not be affected by drag when you watch it from the Tracking Station. Just note that any on-rails object around Kerbin gets deleted once it gets below 25 Km altitude.
Eh I meant it for realism, it burned up hours ago anyways.

KSP died with version 0.14, when they turned it into a money grab by charging for it.
KSP died with version 0.15, when they decided to focus on planes, instead of space.
KSP died with version 0.16, when they added EVA.
KSP died with version 0.17, when they added other planets.
KSP died with version 0.18, when they killed off any mods for docking.
KSP died with version 0.19, when they... umm... Well, I can't think of anything, but I'm sure whatever they did ruined the game.
And so on, and on, and on and on.
KSP has been constantly getting one day closer to its death every day.
0.14 no it did not die when they wanted money for a game because that allows them to add more features. Not everything that costs money is because they are money-hungry
0.15 Did not kill KSP because variety is good. Just because they added planes doesn't mean that it impedes the spacecraft
0.16 didnt kill KSP because they added EVA. EVA Is and was a good thing
0.17 Did not kill KSP because more exploration is good
0.18 Did not kill KSP because they added docking. (This is where i'm starting to think you're joking but I'm gonna continue just in case)
0.19 ???
there we go, im having suspicouns you are joking but just in case you arent i'm gonna post anyways

It works just fine.
Hm, I don't know why it's not working then
-
Has anyone checked if this works for 1.3.1? It doesn't for me but I want to know if anyone else has it where it doesn't either.
-
I made my first scansat satellite! I really like it! It's a temporary orbit because it goes 5 KM below atmosphere. But should survive a fair bit of orbits. I love it!

Hello, I've been searching for a collision simulator for planets that uses SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics not SpacePlane Hangar. A.k.a it fragments fully on collision.). I haven't found any though. US2 doesn't use SPH collisions. But does anyone know any that are publically available? Example video below:
And a channel with a few: https://www.youtube.com/user/joetaicoon/videos

I am thinking about taking a semester sabbatical in a year or so. Yup - four months off!
No, not from KSP, but from the university where I work...
More time to play KSP haha

Not specifically, but I wasn't not talking to you either. Welcome back to anyone who's been away! Lol.
Well, I guess you can still look forward to 1.4 then, not sure what features it'll have though. Maybe the DLC will go on sale at some point and you can get it cheap? I'm going to withhold my opinion on whether it should be paid or not until it's released and I can see what it actually adds.
I don't really want to look forwards to something that doesn't even have any announced plan features (Or even announced at all)

Nice! ...Wait, you have heard about the upcoming "Making History DLC" right? Although 1.4 may come before that, no one can really say atm.
Yeah, I have heard of it but I'm not really excited for that, as I got it a year after April of 2013 and I can't afford it if it's gonna be $10-15 and it seems to add things that should be in an update rather than a paid expansion

I took a break awhile back for like 1/2 a year. Got really into another game. (Don't ask, it's dead now. Ok...it was Hawken, I know; I'm a loser lol.)
Anyways when I came back the whole aero model had been changed and squat, wide rockets were no longer the way to go. Needless to say this caused me considerable frustration as I had to re-learn how to build a rocket that worked.
Welcome back by the way!
Thanks! Since I took a break there was just the localization update and 1.3.1. I'm waiting for another big update though!
EDIT: Ah nevermind you weren't talking to me haha -

According to the document itself these are "Third Party Legal Notices." It then states: "This product may include software licensed under terms that required to display the following notices:"
So this document likely doesn't refer to KSP as a whole but some part of it, or something that was packaged with it.
If you actually go read it you'll notice there are actually about a dozen separate copyrights in there with different names.
Yeah I noticed it, but they all seem to be the same text so I dismissed it as different members of the team just stating it for their work on KSP
-
Same happened to me, I've been away for quite a while (Maybe half a year?). I got back interested just a few days ago. It's pretty cool! I'm planning on going to Minmus without cheats for the first time soon!

So on a discord for KSP someone posted a picture of a legal notice in the KSP directory and this is it:

Does this still work with 1.3.1?
EDIT: No it crashes on loading of save or starting new one.

It has making flight parts, so like a way more advanced and realistic KSP flight wise, I would never stretch it as a ripoff as you can take inspiration without being a ripoff (a.k.a modular parts)
