After spending his life expanding our knowledge of the universe, Einstein called gravity "spooky action at a distance."
Yeah, that's right. Even Al couldn't wrap his head around it.
you just called albert einstein "Al"

@Mr. Quark For future reference, i have written an extensive "How To" guide, along with a "FAQ" section.
Yeah, sorry.

You didn't read the instructions.
Dangit! I'm sorry for some reason I thought it said it was supported

Are you sure you followed all the instructions to install it correctly, along with the required mods? If it doesn't change anything then something's wrong on your install because you should definitely see a difference.
Doesn't work! I used CKAN so it should be working though!

Yes.
I tried that but it doesn't change anything.

Hi, I want to know if there is any way to make RSS look better (Atmospheric effects etc) Cause right now it just looks like this.
It'd be way better if it had atmospheric effects (An atmosphere looking thing) etc

Even more so. It's a name, get over it.
But it's not for realistic simulation, it's a fun sandbox (From experience too)

That said, I will still try it.

Well, no one said KSP should reflect IRL, but how many of us have "done it" ?
I mean for Universe Sandbox

Still better than coding, better go for it.
Well I'm not sure about the accuracy too. It's a sandbox afterall, not something made specifically for simulation.

Orbits evolution with perfect visualization is emulated in the mentioned Universal Sandbox 2 (available on Steam).
It doesn't take into account the inner structure of the bodies (mass distribution along the planet radius), and that's sad, but KSP planets are anyway homogeneous balls, so this doesn't matter.
Custom planet parameters can be easily set there. But it would also take way too much time to set it all up.

Does anyone have a mirror for the download in the video?

That's a darn good question, and one that the scientific community would really like to find out. If you get an answer, let 'em know, okay?
(Also, moving this to Science & Spaceflight)
So sorry for starting threads in the wrong category. It's been a while so I forgot which sections where.

How weird, crazy, or dangerous has your weather gotten? Is there a weather event you would like to share? Have you ever experienced a blizzard, tornado, or hurricane? Here are a few I would like to share:
Several thunderstorms have randomly dissipated right before hitting where I live. Strange...
Seems like Texas. Same for me, I live near Fort Worth.

If you are trying to build your own solar system, you might run into stability problems. This manifests itself by a pop-up message like "Apocalypse occurred at..." and an error in the logs. To solve the problem, you might need to simulate your solar system in an external tool and find its regions of stability.
From principia FAQ on Github . He doesn't seem to plan on making an external program.

Purpose-built n-body simulator would be somewhere in Universe Sandbox, although the densities might not work.
You're welcomed if you want to do a code from scratch or something.
I don't know how to code so I am waiting for someone that has the program in the video. Or something close to that.

Someone have even managed to do them in-game KSP. Say hello to Principia. Densities are not modelled but on stock they had to compensate you know.
Yeah I heard that but like I said: I want a program. I feel like programs have much more elegance than an in-game mod. That said I use principia for this, but am still looking for a program.

How does Gravity exist? How did matter start to have a "pull" on matter?
-
I cheat because I like testing stuff. I installed Kopernicus & Principia for testing with systems. Gravity is fun.
-
Does anyone know any alternatives?
Or have the program.

Thread moved to The Lounge, since it's not about KSP itself.
Oops sorry.

As far as I know, Universe Sandbox is an N-body simulation.
Ah, I thought I heard about it not being N-body. Well I just found a video of someone trying to reproduce the Kerbian system and it messed up (Density etc)

Sure. The wiki has all of the orbital and physical characteristics of KSP's bodies. You just have to plug those in to a simulation. Octave or Matlab can do that. Some light googling suggests that Universe Sandbox is a pretty popular tool for Kerbal simulation as well.
Universe Sandbox isn't an N-body simulation, it uses field of influences (Like KSP)

Well in the OP you asked if such a simulation is still possible, and it is. You might find someone who has the program used in the video somewhere on their PC, but I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for someone to just hammer out a new program for you.
I'm not waiting for someone to make a program for me, I want to know if there are any alternatives to the program (Cause of broken download link)

If you be respectful etc I'd call it debating.
