  1. So First thanx for making tracks a thing again. I'm having an issue with vehicles I make using tracks though. Whenever I launch them (load from SPH into runway) they start facing vertical and role over onto there back. I cheated to play some and made a kickstand (retractable landing leg) to force them to role onto there tracks. This is not a good way to be playing though. 1. Is anyone else having this issue? 2. How can I correct this?
  2. How do you add TCA compatibility to a set of engines that TCA does not detect naturally. Particularly I would love to get TCA to control the fan engines in this mod

  4. Would you please elaborate on this? Maybe even a video? I would love to do closed loop macros unfortunately my macro skills are lacking (unless I see it done). Once I see it I can understand how to do it. Please help! I would love to setup hover craft patrols lol
  5. Ok I was correct. I just reinstalled OPT from the spacedock link. Once launched you get the incompatible please load 1.1.2. So what your saying is it is the idiot light in your car. pay it no mind the mod works fine it just needs the version checker updated?
  6. Strange must be the files on my end then giving me the compatibility issue. Thank you for the prompt reply. You are correct I just looked at my version and I had my last stable game file loaded in instead of the 1.1.3 my mistake lol.

  10. Has anyone tested this with 1.1.2? If so do you run B9 Parts? What I really want to know is does this allow me to change the textures on the MK2 parts in the B9 collection? They use B9 Part Switcher instead of IFS. I hope it does as I need a way to re-skin those parts to OPT white or Titan. I tried to brute force it but the to part packs are to different for my level of modding knowledge.
  11. I would like to start by saying great part mod. I really love the mk2 parts you have added. That brings me to a request. I only use the mk2 parts (your newest ones) and I was wondering if you could separate them out into a stand alone part pack. I have tried to take your original parts and remove the HL series and other parts but it is not working well (I'm no moder). Please

  14. if your having issues with the auto deploy / retract of the gear / wheels there is an easy fix. Just remove your gear from the keybinds. If you go into the binds under the gear tab just remove them and assign them to a different key. This way when the altitude is reached nothing happens as there are no parts attached to the gear hotkey that tca uses. As for mod parts not working correctly. I dont use any stock parts realy. I use Orbital Tug, Karibou , OPT, and other mods. All of these work very well with TCA. I believe you just need to do more testing and work on craft design.
  15. I for one love the mod the way it currently is and cant wait for the next version to be released. I have a small armor of rovers / Hover pods that work great for this mod, stable flight good controls. I actually love the fact it raises and lowers the gear based on altitude to ground. Also I don't understand what your all talking about with the RCS. I disable RCS a lot (mainly to save mono) and my crafts never become unstable. I suspect some of the issues are with craft design.
  16. Ok more info. The only wheel I have found that allows me to roll and or not explode instantly is the karbou module wheel. That comes from the awesome rover mod with the same name. it is a really cool wheel that retracts. Other than that every other leg or wheel has the collider issue.
  17. My issue is not with mod wheels. Actually I have only found one wheel (moded) that works. All stock wheels and landing legs cause the violent collision effect to happen. I think I will wipe my KSP and reinstall that may fix it
  18. How are you all launching your planes? Ever Plane I make (or any thing for that mater) with landing gear or wheels explodes as soon as i load it from the SPH? Has anyone found a fix for this? I have only found one wheel that works ever since 1.1 and 1.2. If there is a fix I don't know it please help.
  19. I use TCA and have some great orbital tugs (will post pics soon). The tanks your right I do have some awesome tanks that I use with this but the other part I really do have a good use for. Using TCA I can fly in a squad and I want to use the drone probe core with the new part as the storage and the grapple are perfect (already made just slid the set into the back of the drone nose) but it wastes the storage inside the drone cone. Please it wouldn't take any extra work really just remove that part of the model give it a new name and take out the controls part of the code.
  20. Just wanted to again say how much I love your mod. I was wondering if you have any more parts in development for it? I would love a matching fuel tank. Possible a radial mount one. If you do make it could you design it in a way that it fits on the side of the grappler (where the mesh textures are) . Just looked at the update and have a request. Could you add one of those mini grapplers / Storage units but without the seat on it? Just wack off that front section where the eva chair is and it would fit great behind the drone probe module with a small grappler arm. That would be great and you already have 99% of it. please
  21. Would you please explain what you mean by "couldn't use such engine manually" I don't understand what Manual mode really means then. I do have a few craft (that fly very well) using multiple vertical engines with 2 horizontal (thrust) engines. The vertical engines are main and the horizontal are manual. This controls the craft very well. I just don't under stand what Manuel is supposed to mean as I'm not manually controlling anything, I use cruise or way points 99% of the time. Also when is 3.2 coming out I really want the no atmo settings.
  22. First I do use other mods but only quality ones and I test all parts thoroughly before keeping them in my main game. The landing gear explosions / Docking port vibration issues mostly come from stock parts attached to mods. I don't really know if the do this using stock on stock (although a lot of people experience it) I did recently find a mod with a working wheel it even extends. Also the rest of the rover is fun :
  23. I do appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately it did not change anything. using the base landing leg on a small craft it exploded as soon as I launched (loaded onto runway) Looks like I'm at the mercy of the devs to correct the collider issue.
  24. Yes I use 1.1.2 and all my mods are up to date. Even with no mods I have no working wheels. The one set of wheels I have that doesn't explode as soon as I launch from VAB / SPH sinks into the ground and free spins. All others explode on contact. That is Lander legs and wheels (all stock parts). Also 85% of the time I dock two items together they get a horrible vibration that eventually causes them to fly apart.
  25. where are you all finding wheels that work? every leg or wheel I use explodes when it touches the ground.
