Kerbal Space Program 2 is a space flight simulator, the idea is you build craft from parts and then fly them through a solar system with some similarities to our own or you can make things like trains, submarines or aircraft to fly on the homeworld. If you have no knowledge of orbital mechanics as I did before I started playing, you will learn a lot about how real spacecraft actually operate, in a simplified way. Also your question has been moved from KSP 2 discussion to Welcome Aboard.
