I took a vid of a jool 5 work in progress. Skip to 1:20 for fail. After this was fixed, I found out LV-N shrouds apparently cause surrounding ones to explode. yay.... -
As a payload provider, I plan to send a absurdly massive comsat into keostationary orbit. Name - Super Array (insert greek letter from alphabet here, starting with Alpha) Provider - Me? Do I insert a company name? Basically a comsat used by kerbals to get TV anywhere Intended for keostationary orbit, inclination ideally zero. Includes small orbital adjustment engine, to make it easier on LP. Other required stuff in image. As of yet, no launch provider seems to be able to carry it into orbit, so I'll let the first person who can carry it do that. I helped my sister go to minmus in a completely overbuilt rocket. She eventually killed both kerbals while on eva She is not ashamed.

I suggest that each of the primary axes of controls (yaw, pitch, roll) as controlled by elevons can have their own limiters. I find that often, I want lots of pitch control, but not much roll on a certain craft from the elevons and that can't really be done on the current system without adding more elevons. This might be a problem only related to me, but I think it could be useful.

Wait, so your point is you want a compass or something ingame (for navigational purposes). Haven't you already solved that? Also, I think it is safe to say that the majority of people have in fact played the game to a degree so that they know what they are talking about....

Something else - A rover dedicated capsule. None of the ones really work well. So think lander can, but with the orientation properly suited for rovers and more glass.- 52 replies

I was looking at some stuff online (a stock missile launcher battle) and was curious in making the launcher itself a bit more dynamic. I adapted one of Majorjims/klonds rcs ball and thermometer hinges to make a hinge for a landing leg or gear to push on and strapped a rocket based cruise missile (really a small rocket powered airplane) and built a rover for it (with some plating) so that everything is in a nice package. Probably nothing new, but it was a nice entry into the mechanical things I have seen on the forums (so fiddly, so weird. KSP doesn't seem to like this). Download is on KerbalX (for those interested).

An 0.625 m version of the claw would be cool. Also, some smaller wing parts for the 0.625 m parts. I find that the current wing parts look weird for things like micro planes and drones, and the wing surfaces could also be very nice for aesthetics. Why not just press T to toggle that?- 52 replies

That looks nice. I have no experience whatsoever in mod making, so I don't know i it is possible, but maybe have a tweakable to change that like on the procedural parts where you can change tank texture? That way, it gets the best of both worlds.

An alternate craft! Bulldozer kinda thing with a skycrane. Utterly impractical, silly and slow, it's not even trying. Time 5:24 - 25(Backpack) = 4:59 Craft name - Let's say "Bulldozer + skycrane"

I gave this a shot. Video below (you might want to turn the volume down) Time - 1:43 - 25(backpack) -15(no VTOL) = 1:03 (I didnt really have vertical propulsion, instead flying vertically... i guess that counts right?) Bloopers (if you really like that kind of stuff. There was a lot of practice flying) EDIT: Forgot craft name, its called the "Mosquito 4M2"

Why do you have that in the fairing in the first place? I think it would be ok outside the fairing, with the heatshield on a decoupler. Also, whats the probe core for? You already have a pilot.
