That sounds about right, assuming the issue is the PCB and not something within the actual wires. Maybe just check with a multimeter to be certain?

Revelations of the Kraken (Chapter 44: Falling Down)
qzgy replied to CatastrophicFailure's topic in KSP Fan Works
Using computer wizadry and magic, the mass of 6.4x Minmus would be ~ 1.0828378742919x10^21 kg. The volume of that Minmus from that one formula learned in middle school V=(4/3)pi*r^3, the volume of said sphere would be about 2.37x10^17 cubic meters. Density is mass over volume, coming out to (ish) 4565 kg/m3 or (if my conversion is correct) 4.565 g/cm^3. Which seems about right for a moon maybe since the density of the moon is something like 3.3 grams per cc. So I guess its fairly close? Maybe someone should check those numbers. But that should be correct... probably. I think. I've gotten like 5 different numbers due to various mistakes in calculating this. If you increase the radius to 385 km or so (Slightly bigger than 6.4x Minmusian radius according to wiki and math), the mass goes up to 1.0885x10^21 and the density to 4.55 grams per cc. Not much of a difference there. ..... Are you building a fake moon or something >_>? -
I think you could use this as the start for an elcano. Maybe.
-
Mine certainly wasn't.

Oh, sorry about that. If you want, you could probably add like ten seconds or something like that if you really have a problem with that. I see you already added it though so I guess dilemma solved? If I redo this I'll make sure to stop close to the statue. (are we allowed to do multiple submissions?)

I can barely/not even do two in a row on a good day. Underhand. Not all the way down. 12 seems unreasonable.
-
3 steps to the left that way, then through the portal. No, not that one. The other one.

totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?
qzgy replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
Don't you usually have to understand the problem before solving it? Bit odd to me too.... I mean, no they shouldn't if they aren't flying. Or if they're exploding. Also, 8 out of 10? What were the other two? -
totm march 2020 So what song is stuck in your head today?
qzgy replied to SmileyTRex's topic in The Lounge
Not quite stuck but I did get some part of this stuck for a little bit in my head because of binging old-ish Top Gear Episodes. -
Okay. 20 is quite a lot. I'm surprised they didn't break. I personally prefer not to use actual rover wheels since I've always found landing gear typically more reliable. Those last traits, the wide wheel base and low CoM are very handy.
-
Damn I'm impressed. Thats a really quick time, How hard was it to not break everything?
-
Okay done! Tried my best not to have the Jet turned on while in the air. I think I succeeded fairly well. The car afterwards. It was prettier. And had more wheels. More in spoilers. Flight Time - 14:50 Drive Time - 7:15 Total Time - 22:05 I will note that this was done in 1.3 cause I don't actually have 1.4.5. So...... that may change it slightly? I don't think its that different though to warrant disqualification. This also took many, many tries. A good hour at least of quicksaves and quickloads.
-
Through much struggling I managed to transfer the flags to a 1.3.0 save. Now to see how well I do in this thing....
-
*evil laughter intensifies* I was hoping for something like this. The 10-meter whiplash es make the entire actual StratoLauncher look puny though. Not that I'm complaining, overkill is just about enough in this case. Maybe though..... Make the StratoLaunch bigger? Proportional to the scaled up Whiplashes for even more insanity capacity?

This looks great! I quite like the top of the light house with all the decorative bits and the use of lights as windows. Also, no problem.

Apollo Alternate Architectures Revived (This week: EOR1)
qzgy replied to DAL59's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Ok I have a question. You have the bonus to use the command chairs on the lander for a +10 bonus, but you also have a -30 penalty for if you need to EVA. If you use a command chair I think you'd need to EVA to get back to the actual return ship regardless if you docked or not. So how's the second penalty going to be implemented? -
Mk2 fuselages are notoriously draggy. Although I'm not quite sure how much more draggy it is and if it is significantly less or more draggy. Would need to do proper testing for that.

Motion to make this the official name? PDF has also been updated. -
Revelations of the Kraken (Chapter 44: Falling Down)
qzgy replied to CatastrophicFailure's topic in KSP Fan Works
Yay more content! Oh its a bit depressing. I feel as if a very interesting explanation explaining what happened there is coming. Or something like that. And more treachery from Layland. Given 66 and the knowledge that you probably know Star Wars fairly well it can't be a coincidence can it? -
AFAIK RO/RSS is already updated to 1.3.1.Thats not really ancient history - I personally still am only KSP 1.3.0. Also I'm not quite sure what the problem is with going back a version if you really want to play with RO/RSS.

Space Race - RO/RSS/RP-0 (April 1956)
qzgy replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Uhhh some from the mildly cheat parts bin, the Cygnus docking port. -
I would assume that's because the pool of people potentially interested in the game and joining the forum have mostly joined by then or something along those lines. The community won't expand at a certain rate forever.
