  1. *sigh* I see Civilian Population mod only compatible for 1.0.4, not 1.0.5.... Therefore modded challenge are temporarily IMPOSSIBLE
  2. This challenge is a long run rather than a simple tasks.... There is no cost limit, kerbals in Kerbin are able to get infinite fund.... However with infinite fund comes with infinite inflation. Funds became useless, kerbals cannot buy rocket parts with funds. No rocket parts means kerbal cannot build rocket, thus making the challenge impossible from the economist view. Anyway I'll try even though installing these mods means creating new directories....
  3. I wanted a mod that allow editor camera movement outside VAB/SPH. Why? Because: Offsetting the vessel very very far away to gain starting height or clip to the ocean bottom. Huge rockets. Seeing what's outside the VAB/SPH. SPACE ELEVATOR!!! Freeroam on editor. If anyone found one, please, tell me.

  6. I made one! This one goes to Laythe! It seems that F3 doesn't really show correctly, so the apparent maximum G-forces are shown in K.E.R.: 341344.571 gees! Let's see what you said: You can, but tbh i was hoping to see, y'know, actual attempts. No offense. You can, but try for real You did said that (mod) cheats are allowed, so I obviously HyperEdit'd the vessel and Alt+F12'd to ignore max temperature, unbreakable joints, and no crash damage. So.... Score: Assuming G-force points gets multiplied G-force: 341344,5 gees = 5689000 points. Laythe multiplier bonus: 5689000 points * 2.5 = 14222500 points. Speed: 37830 m/s * (20 points / 25 m/s) = 30264 points. Video bonus: 100 points Total: 14222500 points + 30264 points + 100 points = 14252864 points! You probably need to make the scoring system better, so people will not misinterpret it.

  8. Well that's easy. add a Stayputnik Mk. 1 and a Sepratron I. You probably don't need a proof that a simple Sepratron I and a Stayputnik Mk. 1 cannot even achieve suborbital. I won.

  10. It is a very good choice to have some money sinks for the overflowing science once you've unlocked the entire tech tree. It is pointless to reduce the dry mass from a 'physicless' part, though. If we could increase the maximum temperature, we can (hopefully) fly on Kerbol atmosphere but not landing. Sadly, the science costs go exponentially, but limited to 2147483647 (it overflows to -2147483648), so if you managed to upgrade about 1 billion sciences cost, you can (theoretically) get free sciences.
  11. Hello? Gravity gets lower and lower when you go up. Plus, Minmus has no atmosphere to slow you down while Kerbin has one. Even with the same rover, Kerbin score and Minmus score will be totally different.

  13. I see my vessel overheats differently depending the exposure to Kerbol.... I'll have to design it as narrow as possible.

  15. I am looking forward for this mod to be done. Really promising. Just think how cool is to 'space race' with others even with AI? In the last post on the other thread, someone is making HASDA aka HSP. Maybe that will make a good competitor, I mean kompetitor

  20. When recording video isn't enough and .craft file is demanded in challenge.... Here's a problem: I like mods that alter .craft file that has stock-only vessel but I also want to upload the .craft file for an non-mod Challenge? How do I solve this problem? Tell me. Do mod-altered .craft files that has stock-only vessel work 100% fine on an un-modded KSP? If not, look below. Should I have two copies of KSP? If so, how? (NOTE: I use Steam version) Should I gave enough screenshots of a stock-only vessel in modded KSP so people can rebuild it? Should I gave up one of them? Thank you.
  21. I see that no one have actually used this to gain advantage in career AFAIK (As Far As I Know). I actually used them to gain money. It is possible to place your miner in Launchpad, activate it, wait for it, and recover to gain money from mined/converted resources from your miner. Alternatively, one may let engineer crew to make miners way more efficient and/or add ISRU converter to convert the ore into something worthy (MonoPropellant is the most worthy, which is 1.2 Funds/Unit) Is it really cheaty to make a miner? It does not look cheaty cheaty IMO (In My Opinion). I also even have a challenge for it.
