Does it include a launch pad? Fuel? Radar stations? Charged batteries? Do you have an energia to go along with the orbiter? Is the interior finished, unlike the first buran? Do you have an EVA suit so you can get over to the ISS? *things to think about* The last thing I googled was "shortest inaugural address" so I guess I can say 130 words to them and distract them for a bit.

create a/the rules for a ridiculous board/card game
Ultimate Steve replied to Boorang's topic in Forum Games!
The cards are flavored like BeanBoozled beans. Should the player eat the bad tasting card... -
Prices are in thousands of USD unfortunately, so the $295 is actually $295,000. I wish, though...

Someday I want to be able to shout in a status update "IT'S OVER 9,000!!!!!!!" But I'll be able to shout it at @Vanamonde soon, so that's good!

Unfortunately, due to the fact that I live in a small town in Iowa with only 3000 people, I have never seen a Tesla to my knowledge.

totm dec 2019 What crimes against Kerbin have you committed?

The thing is, I'm actually planning on doing this, but unfortunately the helicopter portion doesn't want to work. -
Yes, I don't see this much in arguments anywhere. Wind on Mars would have a really hard time blowing anything over (sorry, The Martian!) and likewise, on Venus, assuming you managed to survive the pressure and temperature, the slightest breeze will be tossing you around quite a bit.

And I don't have the video link right now, but they actually have tested several large rocket engines successfully, and also several large rockets moderately successfully. They are launching their demonstrator Nexo-2 rocket sometime this year.

Why have 1 when you can have 100 for 100x the cost? In all seriousness, the heli is very much a tacked on secondary payload and must be made small, although I like your thinking, I think we should send a few with each lander from now on (assuming we don't get humans to Mars super fast).

I'm exploring Gameslinx's planet overhaul and I'm currently at Olu'um, which is a star, and there happens to be a moon orbiting extremely close to the star, which I'm currently attempting to land on. The spaceship is overheating a lot, the solar panels and a battery are already gone, the lander can almost went. I'm going to have to land on the night side and maybe not EVA because I'll melt the Kerbal. And to top it off, a line in the song I'm listening to right now is "flying too close to the sun as if we're invincible."

Correct, nobody is perfect. I believe Atlas and Falcon are both doing about the same as far as scrubs, with SpaceX being ahead in delays, but Atlas V has never actually had an LOM, only one partial success. True about Proton, though. The last 13 launches have been successful, but 2010-2015 there was at least one total failure per year, including my favorite: The accelerometers being installed upside-down. -

As far as the slipping issue goes, I counted back 10 missions each for the Falcon, Atlas, and Delta families, including today's Falcon 9. This doesn't count delays, only scrubs the day of launch, and 10 might not be far back enough to get a true picture. Falcon - 2 scrubs. Delta - 2 scrubs (although the site I'm using only goes back a few years and the 2 was only out of 8 flights). Atlas - 5 scrubs, although 4 of them were that one that got really unlucky. -
The first issue is a bug, if you open the debug menu (alt+f12 on Windows) and look for a button that says clear input locks, then press it and the camera should reset to normal. The second issue might be that you have not properly included avionics in your rocket. In RO, every command part has an avionics value in tons, and if your rocket is heavier the controls, except for space and the context options, will be locked. You also have to be within communications range and must have a valid communications link. If you don't already have procedural parts installed, I would suggest you do, it's pretty much essential for RO/RP-0. It also includes a procedural avionics unit that you can shape to your needs.

...Which is a metal bottle wrapped with several layers of carbon fiber or another composite, which is then filled with a pressurized gas. In SpaceX's case, this is helium, which is released into the fuel tanks as fuel is burned to take up the space to prevent the rocket from collapsing in on itself due to external pressure, like this: EDIT: The Falcon doesn't have balloon tanks, though, the above example does, which means the pressurization is giving the rocket its strength. This would not happen to Falcon on the pad, but it might in flight. -

If you want a bit of a teaser, the BFS is within a few feet in all dimensions of the shuttle's external tank. -

Off topic, this made me wonder who Jeb's mom was. Do you think she tragically died in a rocketry accident or something? Serious: This is excellent news, the aspirational timeline has moved *gasp* LEFT! -

What The Dock?
Ultimate Steve replied to Bakkerbaard's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Again, how to transfer crew, because it isn't here. Mouseover the hatch of the part with the Kerbal in it until a popup appears, then left click. It will bring up a list of Kerbals inside with an option that says transfer. Choose that, and the rest is straightforward. -
Well, technically, at least one thing is still post-apocalyptic... The atmosphere. (This is somewhat disputed but we have a general idea.) The atmosphere had a lot more oxygen than it used to, so most dinosaurs wouldn't live very long today.
