  1. I was only able to launch 2 vessels, both shuttles, one of which in still in MKO, at 1,200km with about 3,800dV (LV-N). anyone can use it. I added an orange tank to the gateway station, and put a double orange into orbit around Kerbin, feel free to use it to refuel. I have pictures but they will have to wait till next week sry. Thanks!
  2. Hello @Scientia1423 I learned how to tag (lol) and would like to take the slot of March 21-22 OR March 25-26, I'll grab the file later tonight and if that's not ok, i'll just download it again friday. Thanks guys. Hoping to put a module onto each of the stations, there are 3 right?
  3. hello @Scientia1423 I would like to participate. I'm a noob when it come to the forum sry if I got the format of this request wrong
  4. Sorry to hear that mullet, Hope all is well now. Please let us know when you get back into KSP, it was a very good idea for a challenge. Perhaps passing it along to another user would be a good idea?
  5. I'm a fan of the SS so here it goes. There you go. Trying to do too many things at once leads to the classic "jack of all trades master of none" The Soyuz does ONE thing! it goes up with a few people. and comes down. and it's not a cozy ride i've heard and on... the shuttle can land on a runway. talk about easy recovery My main workhorse in my career mode game is a... Space Shuttle. why? it's cheap. I have 3 versions. a 20 man transport. a payload transport. and a long range (minmus and back) 4 man transport. does the job, and yeah it's a bit of a challenge. but isn't that the point of NASA? Do the things that are hard? Also the Brits are jealous.
  6. I circumvent the 2000 degree threshold by adding radiator panels to the underside of the cockpit thereby raising the temp threshold to 2500 deg. not sure if that helps you out. its a bit of a cop out
  7. Hello Azimech! Long time lurker, first time poster. I made an account just now so I could say, WOW! great work!! Question, have u ever used the program "Algodoo" it is a 2d physics simulator and u can build stuff like your engine in it. just wondering. seeing it in 3d is way cool! A 4 stroke could be achieved with a simple timing gear with a ratio of 2:1 BTW I have built transmissions in algodoo and understand their operation. PM me if this is an avenue you would like to explore, I would love to help out Also, how about a radial engine like in your avatar? they were commonly used in piston aircraft, as I'm sure you are aware. once again, good job!
