  1. I like the kind that don't explode, experience RUD or crash. The one's the explode followed by RUD and then crash are kinda fun though.
  2. Interesting question...if you're talking about a dry, sandy place it would be Desert. Kerbals tend to have a compulsion to want to think of everything as a snack, so Dessert might be more appropriate
  3. You can fix it with a simple MM config. if you look at the COM line in the pod's .cfg file you'll see that the first three numbers, which should be zero, one of them is set slightly off zero. I don't have the right syntax in front of me, but if you need help I can post the config later today.
  4. This is the most current thread:
  5. Okay. I'll try that tonight. Thanks for the quick reply EDIT: This worked. I downloaded 1.11 from Curseforge per the instructions on Page 1. Now the MH retro suits are showing the correct amount of KIS storage. Not my most graceful lander, but it worked for KIS testing and Bill and Bob made it back home safely.
  6. I've used a method like this too and it works well. I almost always put RCS ports on my payload. It makes docking a lot easier and, since you're using KAS, it's easy enough to send a kerbal out to remove the RCS ports after docking.
  7. Agree 100% with this. With KSP store purchases you can control your updates. I know that with Steam you can step back to previous versions, but that's extra hassle. Also, many of us who play waaaay too much would prefer not to know just how many hours we've spent on the game...Steam's little time-in-game counter is an unwanted reminder LOL.
  8. Thanks for checking this out. I'm running a clean install of KSP with only KIS/KAS/SEP/KER as shown below. I started a new save also. The log file is in DropBox. The two additional screenshots are from one craft in which Jeb is wearing a retro suit and Bill is wearing the Stock suit.
  9. I'm using 1.10, fresh install and I'm also seeing only 1.00L of storage in the retro space suits.
  10. I've chosen Yes each time because I seemed important to let CKAN do what it needed to do Am I over-thinking it?
  11. Yea, I'd never seen it before either. I'm using 1.25.1 on three different installs 2 1.4.x and 1 1.3.1...each of them populates that message almost every time I launch CKAN.
  12. I keep getting a message when I first launch CKAN. I dialog box pops up saying "CKAN requires permission to add a handler for ckan://URLs. Do you want to allow CKAN to do this? If you click no you won't see this message again." Am I supposed to click yes or no? I haven't seen this message with any previous CKAN installs. Thanks!
  13. Very sorry for your loss...flags are flying at half mast at my KSC.
  14. Steep learning curve, but YouTube tutorials help a lot. I definitely got frustrated at first and had to take it slow. Once you get the hang of it though it's really cool. If you like solving engineering problems, planning missions and don't mind a bit of math, you'll probably like it.
  15. New update - v1.1 for testing. if all goes well I'll release later this week. Shouldn't break existing saves, just tweaked some of the textures to give more depth. https://github.com/TykoTek/Basic-Procedural-Textures/releases
  16. Thanks, yes...when i updated to 1.4.3 with the new Kopernicus it stopped. You're response is really helpful though. Now I know it WILL work and I'll just have to figure out why mine isn't
  17. Rescale and Sigma Dimensions for 1.3.1 was (mostly) working under 1.4.2. As soon as I installed 1.4.3 the older mods weren't scaling any more. Did others see this too? NOTE: I'm not asking for official support. I'm just asking from others who are probably fooling around with this too
  18. If you have a question about a specific mod you're much better off posting in the thread for that mod rather than a generic modding thread. The people that build and support B9 Part Switch read and respond on their own thread, but may never even check this folder
  19. thanks for weighing in! I only suggested testing on a clean install because he wasn't having success with this simple mod and was running a lot of other mods.
  20. I have yet to make a successful Normal Map. They're totally baffling me right now. Striped_NRM.png is derived from your original, deprecated Striped_Normals_png. I lopped the top half off and stretched it back into a square Thanks for the advice about the top node. I'll add that to the next update
  21. How are you getting sigmadimensions and rescale running? They were (sorta) working under Kopernicus 1.4.2. They don't work at all under 1.4.3. If you have a solution please share
