  1. It should because Unity4x has some Dx11 support, that's what the above command is, a Unity3D command line argument to force Unity to use DirectX 11 More info here. But it uses DirectX 9 by default for greater compatibility and stability, it should also be noted that because this is a Unity thing if you have trouble with it you'll need to ask on the Unity forums

    Planetes?

It's only been a few months
  3. I imagine it'll be development discussion, (Moves thread) oh look I was right
  4. UnstableOrbit, make the addon you want for yourself, scratch your own itch, if others find it also scratches theirs then that's good too, bit of Linux philosophy for you Cpt. Kipard, can you stop telling others how to do their thing please, if you don't have something constructive to bring to this then it's best to allow others to do so instead and for you to just see how thing turn out. No back seat addon development!
  5. SpaceEngine 0.9.7.1 loads on Linux with Wine 1.7.33, so should work on OSX as well I'll test 0.9.7.2 when it finishes downloading. Update: 0.9.7.2 installed successfully, "compiling shaders" Uplate: It works!
  6. Hi Bigfatpaulie, career in KSP for Windows 64bit is broken, sorry, please see the stickies and use the regular 32bit KSP.exe instead
  7. I saw this recently but can't remember what happened, might have been caused by an addon or a bad craft.
  8. I found out why, there's a bug with tutorials not resetting building states, if you start a sandbox game first it'll fix it.
  9. Probably had mirror attach mode active instead of radial, when fitting parts press R to switch
  10. Yeah you've found a definite bug here KiloMike, obviously the tutorials aren't setting the building levels when run. I'm not seeing a Kethane tutorial though, I'm guessing you installed Kethane and it comes with its own.
  11. I find the little bit of fuel to be useful as I don't need a lot anyway, and the "EVA packs use monoprop" was pretty cool as you had to manage your resources but RCS drain could leave you stranded. Depends on your definition of fun I guess Also, moving to dev discussion.
  12. Guys, this would make a great Science Labs thread, please start a new one there, this thread is neither the right place and is far too old Closing.
  13. Here's fine, nice work Slashy
  14. Damn I was hoping you'd just moved it, can't think what else to suggest at this point.
  15. Okay what you can try is this. COPY your current KSP 0.25 to C:\Games, and run the copy. Don't use the bad install, after it's copied over and working just delete the bad install. You've run KSP on the desktop and then moved it, it's DEP'ped and Windows will not allow the files to be modified by the game, this breaks the game.
  16. It's not ice apparently, the surface samples say it's more like a salt. But we all know that's a lie, and it's really mint ice cream
  17. Okay so if it loads without those folders it's likely there's a few corrupt files in there, the only way to get a new copy would be via the Steam trick, just don't let it mess up your current KSP install
  18. Well I hoped you had it saved somewhere, but it's the last stable version on Steam so you can rename your current 0.90.0 install so Steam doesn't harm it and set Steam to the last stable version, then use Steam to install 0.25
  19. Alright, though you said this as 0.25 you were using, there's a few things to try from here, one is to try a fresh 0.25 install, another is to copy out the saves and try your bugged install again in case it's a bad save. Another thing to try is to copy out all the addons from the bad install and see if it loads, if it loads without saves or without addons we can concentrate on those areas, if a new 0.25 fails to load then it's a deeper issue.
  20. Alright I think we'll have to work from square one, can you load an unmodded, freshly unzipped copy?
  21. It's a definite bug that the Ion drive won't shut down with X and return control to the player, your rotation is due to an imbalanced craft with no SAS when the batteries die.
