Yeah, most of them can take quite some hits, but the american ones I have seem to be made of tinfoil when a german 30mm gets lobbed at me -

Oh dear, I know exactly what that is. That's damage to the wiring between the laptop body and the screen, and if my experience with my own HP pavillion laptop with the same issue says much, it'll get worse and worse if you don't fix it. My computer has had the same issue for about an year or two now, and the screen is barely hanging on and it only doesn't flicker and bugs up in a very specific position where it's held up against a wall. The issue has nothing to do with software from what i can tell, it's purely physical. If you get it fixed soon it should be an easy fix, although if you just never bother fixing it you could end up with a broken screen hinge that excacerbates the problem (I fiddled with mine until it broke and made the screen loose). Good luck!

Quick announcement thingy for everyone that frequents this thread: Due to me having less and less time to manage the thread and work on stuff in general, I decided that it would be of best interest if I passed the thread down to someone that could take care of it, since I can't anymore. So I asked @cratercracker if he could host the thread and keep the amazing creative work of everyone here going in a new, organized thread, so many thanks to him for taking up the challenge. The new thread is here: I strongly recommend you continue participating over at the new thread, since it is the same thing, but only now with better organization and a capable host! I'm not doing this because I want it to end, only because I think this thread deserves proper attention and commitment to the artists and requests, something I'm not able to do because of my time constraints and just IRL in general. Hope to see you there!

What's Your Funniest, Wierdest, Or Stupidest Design?
HazelPine replied to Chel's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
One of the weirdest working ships I made is this reusable launcher I used to make a space station. It worked by tossing things into space, where the payload would release and circularize. After that it landed back at base and was refueled and reloaded with two even weirder crafts: -

A little sketch of a ship I tried circumnavigating kerbing with!

An attempt at trying out some more pleasing to look at sketch techniques was made. I think it worked ok, but there's some fine tuning to be done still. Also, mini cooper rally car!

I don't think I'll be able to help out on this one, sorry.

Been playing for the past two days DCS A-10C, after finally getting it to run on my computer. Insanely hard to figure out but I'm having fun.
