  6. So quick question. I'm probably missing it in the OP but whatever. I downloaded the RO pre-release for 1.2 along with SpaceY and am unable to use the parts much since they literally say "Non RO". So where is the RO download? Thanks. Fire

  8. I won't be afraid to. I have been thinking about different LEO launchers, 2.5-2.75m, 3.75m, 5m, and 10m. I think all missions to other planets with Kerbals will be multi-launch spacecraft, even with the Mun. I am really enjoying RO so far. Also I should have a thread in mission reports coming out soon and one in spacecraft exchange. After getting to know stock for months now, it is fun to try something new and learn to understand real world launches more easily. Thanks, Fire
  9. Same here. I did say RO. Besides I don't really like career much anyways. Starts off too slow and I want to cut to the fun stuff. However I want to do an LEO station and moon landing first. As for editing stuff and using kOS, editing the files sounds really interesting. If it is not too cheaty, it could be used to make the game your own and play it the way you want to play it. Awesome idea. And kOS is something I've been wanting to try for a while now but I want to try it at a time that I want to focus on it, not everything else since it is a big learning curve. Keep going! I am enjoying this. Fire

  11. Ok got it into orbit earlier this morning! Alright this rocket is going to take some tweaking. It is basically the Atlas 3 in its looks, all except for the main engine and SRBs. Its second stage has about 8000 m/s and the first stage gets decoupled at about 4000 m/s with this payload. This satellite is less than a ton so I am going to have to do some calculating on its payload mass. I had some problems with the decoupling. First of all the procedural fairing interstage didn't separate making me have to revert. I decided to continue using the interstage but with a procedural decoupler instead. However thanks to a bunch of seperatrons that assist the separation, the spacecraft went into an uncontrollable spin. I am not used to RO and the probe core has about no torque compared to its stock counterpart. I am also not used to having a set number of ignitions and wasted them all on trying to regain control. However I was lucky to have a gimbal on the engine and catch it on its last ignition which happened about 20 seconds from apogee hence the high AoA in the fourth picture. I was also eventually able to get into a not very circular 600 by 200 km orbit around Earth. I need to perfect this rocket but it could become in the future a good LEO workhorse.   12. I ignore the ant and spider engines. Even more the spider since I used an ant on my first attempt at the under 50 ton Moho challenge. It was trash for that. Bad TWR. Fire
  13. I have been trying to get a second installation of KSP for RO. First time downloaded every mod I could find and wanted on the RO debugging spreadsheet. My game broke so I re-installed the KSP clone with fewer mods and I built a rocket that could easily get to LEO with a somewhat small payload. It never got out of the atmosphere because my game was going at frames per. minute at this rate. So either playing at lower graphics quality will fix it or my computer is slower than an ion engine. I also have a terrible engine selection! Most of the good vacuum engines have only one ignition! Hopefully cryogenic engines can solve that. Also I love procedural fairings! I wish stock fairings worked that way or looked as good! Great mod! Totally recommended! Also @hellblazer is a legend! Fire
  14. Oh I didn't know about that... Well maybe the guy got bored. I once decided to draw a comic about a desert once. Though it was agonizing to get up every morning and think up a comic for about three months. Not everyone is a cartoonist although this guy has some serious talent. Fire

  20. Did it but if you read my post above, you will see that I am experiencing a problem and I don't know what mod is causing it. I go to fuel tanks but remain on command pods. Try to go to engines or electricity but I remain on command pods for some reason. Do you know which mod is causing this? Fire
  21. Nah. I'm talking about the stock categories. I don't mean the filter categories and I thought that mod might me causing the trouble so I uninstalled it. So no I no longer have it installed. Fire
  22. Alright. Thanks @VikingStormtrooper. I have finished downloading most of the mods on that list and I have a small problem. It seems in the VAB, that I get stuck on the command pod category after entering. Which mod is causing this? Fire
  23. Just another question about the modlist. I have made a duplicate of KSP to play RO on. On the google docs modlist, why are some mods highlighted yellowish orange like procedural fairings? Thanks. Fire
