I sort of want to make a little printable version of Atomic Rockets, or something like it. So i make (rough) designs of spacecraft werever i go, without internet connection, so i don't have to whine when there is no wifi, and still have stuff to do.

Should i change my username to Zanzalur? Its my username everywhere on the internet already.
-
Why can't i upload files on Youtube larger than 100mb?
This is becoming a little frustrating.

Fun fact: The Earth is around 6 Brontograms massive.
Bronto isn't an official SI prefix, but i think it sounds cool. One Bronto has 27 zeros. Yes i can use 6^27 to describe earths mass but that doesn't sound cool.

I wonder what comes after Bronto, Tyrannogram? Toomuchogram?

Today is my birthday.
Just so you know.

If this doesn't convince you to clean your room i don't know what will.

No im not on a profile picture changing spree again, i just changed it, it will stick for a while, but i will change it later again after the Mars dust storm is over.

I like the YouTube channel Daily dose of Internet alot.
Always jumps straight to things in the title, and occasionally shows content im familiar with. In this case they showed a clip from Peter Draws, another great channel.

RUN! RUN! RUN!

It looks like there are more realistic designs on the Atomic Rockets website. It used to split in 2 pages but now its split into 4. Enjoy!

I don't want to go too political here but the European Union is *seriously* considering banning dank memes.
Im going to the Moon, its offical! Im getting the hell outta here! And im also going to build railroads there, thats also official , the royal wedding now has more views than the Falcon Heavy launch, meaning im going to *seriously* consider making a spaceflight company.
See ya!

Im working on a book. Not a story this time, but a book on how to survive a nuclear blast and the winter afterwards. I will maybe make a seperate book about restoring society afterwards, but only if i don't throw the first project in the bin shortly afterwards.

Im at the start now. By far the most difficult problem to solve is nuclear fallout.
Fun fact: nuclear fallout is difficult problem to deal with but is unlikely to happend be a problem in the first place. Nuclear fallout only is a problem when a nuke explodes on the surface, but because a nuclear bomb has the most effective explosive damage when detonated in the air (this is called an airburst by the way), and there isn't much stuff for the radiation to stick in the air, nuclear fallout will likely not be a large scale problem.
This doesn't mean nuclear war isn't a problem though, there is still the forest fires that will clog the sky with smoke and cool down the planet, and then there is also the possibility a nuclear bomb will get stuck in the ground and THEN explode. The fun isn't over, oh wait....

Yes, I'm relatively well informed in that area
You can go look at this site (if you haven't already) and run some simulations:

If the Royal Wedding of 2018 is going to get more YouTube views than the Falcon Heavy launch im going to start a spaceflight company and build space habitats, hotels, and railroads for the Moon, mars and beyond.

I just found out about this and its amazing.
ALICE is a rocket fuel that uses aluminium nano-powder and water (in the form of Ice, to keep the mixture stable). The Aluminum reacts with the oxygen in the water like any other themite reaction, and the hydrogen shoots out at high velocity, increasing the exhaust velocity.
Not just that, because all it is just Aluminum and water, it could easily be be made at say, the Moon, because those two things aren't too difficult to get on the Moon, and Ice isn't too hard to store, not much harder than Cryogenic liquids like liquid Hydrogen and Oxygen. This is a solid rocket fuel, so it can't be turned off, unfortunately.
I could see this being used in kick-stages for Lunar Orbital cannon cargo, to finish orbit.

Can parrafin be manufactured on the Moon? You need Petroleum to manufacture Parrafin right? They could probably use another wax as an alternative.
Maybe they could throttle and turn of ALICE, if they seperated the Aluminum and Water in the a Hybrid rocket configuration. Althought this might be less efficient because of the lack of surface area.

For all the Dutchies who just so happend to stumble upon this status update:
