  1. I'm about to start a career game with Kerbalism and would like to use the recently updated Stockalike Station Parts Redux. Are these two mods compatible, particularly the life support elements?

  5. @DMagic Yes, the mod is now working Going to the main Github repo page may have been what I did earlier. I'll make sure to download future releases from Spacedock to avoid this occurrence. Thank you again for your patience and hard work!
  6. @DMagic I've checked the installation files again and I think I've discovered my mistake. The first file I downloaded was a zip file named "KSP-PortraitStats-Master" which included the source files and did not have the .dll in the PortraitStats folder. I don't remember which link I used that led me to that file, as I downloaded it last July 17 (I think it was at Spacedock). But after re-downloading the correct file from github, the modlet is not working The mod installed in Gamedata/Gamedata was the Kerbnet Controller modlet, and I have since changed it to the correct file strucure. I apologize for any inconvenience, I will try in the future to recheck that I have downloaded the correct files. Thank you so much for your time and the great mods you've created!

  9. @DMagic I would love to post my log files, but again, I am embarrassed to ask--how can I output log files manually from the game without a game crash? Do I have to do something in the debug console?
  10. Alright, although there isn't really any error that occurs--I simply cannot see the job icons for the Kerbals in their portraits in the game. I have tried installing, deleting and installing the modlet five times now, and every time, no icon appears. The rank and the tooltip seems to work (they are visible in the Kerbal portraits), but sadly, there is still no job icon. I have uploaded a screenshot of my game with Valentina on an MK1 cockpit at the Launch pad. As you can see, the tooltip seems to work, and her current rank is visible, but there is no icon on the right of the job title and rank. I also included in the screenshot the debug console, and having looked at the rest of it, I could not see any references to Portrait Stats.
  11. Okay, what will I do after a minute has passed? Will I have to open the debug console and do something? I am sorry if this sounds noobish and ignorant, but I do want to discover why the mod won't load.
  12. @DMagic I don't think I have error log files; I redownloaded KSP on Steam for a fresh install a couple of days ago and have been adding mods one by one, preparing for a new career mode. Is there any way to produce these logs manually?
  13. Good day, I have downloaded the mod Portrait Stats and despite having installed it, the portraits of my Kerbals in-game do not show an icon beside their name. I have checked both in sandbox and career and no icons appear. The tooltips appear when I hover on the Kerbals, but no icon is visible. Am I missing something? The DMagic tab at the difficulty options does not show Portrait Stats options. I have MKS installed, and I have seen that there are .dds icon files in the Portrait Scan download, but I cannot see anything in my games. Thank you for the cool mods, I also have Kerbnet controller and Basic Orbit installed, and they work perfectly.
  14. I have a problem with the Ferry Scientist contract--once I complete the contract by recovering the scientist, the scientist disappears. I tried using the debug menu to complete the contract while the ship with the scientist is still active in space, and once I pressed the complete button, the scientist just disappears immediately from the vessel. I've looked at the debug logs and there are no errors I could see. Any ideas why this could be happening?
  15. A long time coming, as this screenshot was taken about six months ago. Still my favorite screenshot, a serendipitous moment in a tourist contract where I got Valentina to line up in the window sporting a big smile just as I got into the internal view.

  17. I had noticed lag in my playthrough, then my game crashed. So I restarted the game and opened task manager to monitor my RAM. I observed the RAM usage was way higher than usual, so I tried removing SVT and Kopernicus then restarting the game. I noted my RAM usage then opened the game again with SVT. This is where I got the 3 gb statistic. I understand if this is the expected resource requirements, I just want to be sure.
  18. Just a question: Is the memory jump for SVT really around 3 gb? I've tried starting KSP without SVT and there is 3 gb on my end. Is this expected? It seems an extra large jump from previous versions.
  19. Good day, I've installed the USI Constellation Pack, and when I looked at the stock tech tree in Career mode, the Karibou Rover parts are located in the Advanced Construction node. Is this a conscious choice? It seems out of place as the Akita and Malemute parts are located in the Field Science Node. I had assumed that the Karibou, being the largest rover among the three in the USI Constellation, would be mostly located in the Advanced Motors node, the node after field science.

I can do a Kottabos review right now: 1) Show one part. 2) Choose one of these descriptions randomly: "I like it very much"; "It's very beautiful"; "I really like the textures"; " I enjoy this very much" 3) Show another part. Seriously though, excellent job Roverdude! I've been testing the mod out and the new collapsible docking ports and robotic parts are amazing in particular. Looking forward to the rest of the new releases of the USI mods.
  21. I have, and submitted some screenshots demonstrating the bugged perspective. It seems to persist even when reloading and restarting the game. The aim camera may seem like a small feature, but I love making screenshots and videos of my progress. Aim camera means another mod that I don't have to install.
  22. I have discovered the aim camera, but I think I came across a bug. I used the aim camera while testing the new autostrut function at the launch pad, then recovered the vessel. Returning to the KSC view, I was stuck in a perspective of the sky, with no way to return to the standard perspective of the KSC buildings.
  23. Interesting to know that this happens in stock--I had assumed that one of the mods had caused this problem as well. A minor workaround besides reloading that I found is to go to the space center BEFORE going on EVA. I am trying to play hardcore career mode and recording my progress, so I disabled quicksaving; this is how I found the workaround.
