  1. Unfortunally we cannot endorse unofficial merchandise. As most companies, we do care about how our brand and its elements are used, and therefore we can't give you our approval for this. Nevertheless we are planning to expand our merchandise offering and we could review the possibility of using a similar design in the future.
  2. It is still too early to give you a definitive answer about our participation, but it is something that we're thinking about. We want to get more involved in industry events and I personally think that PAX is one where KSP would perfectly fit. This year, for example, our business developer attended a couple of gaming events already; including Gamescom in Cologne, Tokio Game Show, and next week, a couple of us, are coming to TwitchCon. So don't be surprised if you end up seeing us in more events.
  3. Hi! We would like to assure you that we have no plans to monetize user created content, this has unfortunately become a concern amongst gamers in recent times, and we do not agree with it. Furthermore, I think it's important to consider that the wiki is editable by the community and therefore, it shouldn't be taken as Squad's word. We haven't made any official statement about any Expansions and/or DLCs, since a 3 year old blog entry made by Felipe, where he mentioned DLC as a possibility for KSP's future. We've always taken feedback of the community seriously and we will continue to do so
  4. I don't know the reason why he wasn't included in the Media Group back then. Most probably the vacancies were filled when he applied... I'm sure we can review his application in the near future if he's still interested.
  5. Hi @CAKE99 Basically, the he Media Group is a collaboration between Squad on one side and Twitch streamers and YouTubers (collectively 'influencers') on the other. The objective of this collaboration is to foster a relationship that both sides profit from: influencers have access to exclusive content such as new versions of the game before they are released, which they can use to promote their channels. In return, Squad profits from the additional media attention this concentration of video releases generates. YouTubers and Twitch streamers who wish to qualify for membership of the Media Group must: .. be in good standing with the KSP Community and SQUAD. .. be 18 years of age or older. .. have a gaming PC capable of showing KSP in the best quality. .. have the necessary software to record and edit videos, as well as a good working knowledge of said software. .. make videos or stream at 720p/30fps or better We also take the quality of the content and number of subscribers/followers into consideration. Exceptions can be made in exceptional cases on Squad's discretion. It's also important to note that as a member of the Media Group, you have to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Squad. This means that any information disclosed between Squad and you in the context of the Media Group is not to be shared with any third-party that is not a member of Squad or a member of the Media Group. You can contact me or Badie to learn more about it. I hope this will clarify your doubts
  6. Just to clarify: The KSP Store patch will be updated, too.
  7. Kasper, we can't thank you enough dor everything you've done! I think that everyone has felt the love, passion and devotion you have for the game and this community. I've only been around briefly but it was an honour to work with you and I wish you all best!
  8. Hi everyone! Update 1.2 has just entered Experimentals! We’re eager to finally start the next phase of testing and getting ever closer to the 1.2 release. During experimental testing a crack team of experienced and hand-picked KSP players will throw everything they’ve got at the game to make it bend, blend and break in many ways. The goal is to catch as many bugs as we can, and to make the game as stable as it can be before we make a public test build available. Those of you who’ve been around for the 1.1 update will remember that we released a ‘pre-release’ test build for everyone to have a go before we officially released the update, and for update 1.2 we plan to do the same thing. Once the pre-release builds are available you’ll only be able to opt-in via the Steam betas, or through the KSP store. We hope you’re as excited as we are about the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates and Fly Safe!
