  1. I have tried to make a car, a couple actually... (Sorry for the bad image quality) I'd like to know what you think about some of my more recent attempts at producing vehicles in KSP Attached is the LR-ARX E and F variants and LR-LMBX The ARX is meant to be more of a fast buggy meant for... whatever you do with a buggy... The LMBX is more of an attempt to make a good looking sportscar like vehicle. I would like to hear some feedback and what you overall think of these crafts and what I can do to make better ones in the future. Just letting you know, the ARX F will probably require unlimited fuel so activating infinite propellant will probably be necessary.   2. Thanks you! I will see what i can do to minimize part count but i think the only option would be to remove the rotatable turrets. The craft would definitely still remain effective as a directed heavy cruiser so im not too worried about a lack of armament, the turrets together addd about 150 parts so that would definitely reduce lag... See if you can put a part count limiter on so that people like me stop asking for ships over say 500 parts. I think this would reduce lag and improve video quality in general even though you sacrifice the ability to use craft over whatever part count. Also since you are having a hard time running craft over 750 parts it won't matter because you can't exactly review them anyways. Although, with 1.2 and some optimization features it may bring, it could expand the part count of craft you can fly with. Related to that, see if you can do spaceship craft testing outside of kerbin's SOI. The simpler area would mean better frame rates not having to render kerbin in such detail. This would also basically mean that you wouldn't have to worry about it being day or night, (there is no night side of the sun) and you would get a less sporadic debris field. You would also be doing this all with one lightsource.

  5. And another one... This craft is a beefed up transport vessel with added heavy armor plating, ramming spear, added weapons, and ramming thrusters. It has a few downsides such as low TWR for its size and being a relatively weak transport in the first place, but i've made up for its weaknesses by adding SRB thrusters for one time use situations and more armor allowing it to survive in prolonged combat situations. The addition of more weapons than its weaker counterpart but its complement is still limited. The craft is fundamentally flawed because of the amount of weight in lander cans I added. I really don't know what to think about this craft but I would appreciate some hard feedback on what to do. I will leave you with this and the original craft I designed and based this off of. to compare the two.   6. I have another new ship to add to my list... I've tried to add a wide variety of weapons to this. It sports 4x I beam rotational warheads 2x re-fire SSM missiles 2x 1x2 pintle mounted rotational warhead turrets (+8 warheads) 1x Mk2 Heavy torpedo 6x Standard torpedos I wanted to get creative with the structure and try to blend some parts on an attempt to make a circular like design Although I did use a prefab chassis and modified it a little to flow with the design. this craft took approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to make, although has not be armor tested. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7Q5NPUcsUYkaG00c0dNU0E5ams Here are some specifications...   8. Status update on the new sever whatever we call it. Ubuntu 16.04.1 is now running on parent machine but i'm still working on net booting the other machine. Combined the specs are listed 2x I7 3440K 4x 8Gb DDR3 RAM DualX-Sapphire R7 GPU Nvidia GTX 670 GPU 1x 2Tb hard drive The two computers are joined via ethernet and i'm working to see if we can get them to run simultaneously as one system. Want to hear a joke? Running a linux server...
  9. Well i'm trying. Still need to switch the OS and get the two computers working as a beowulf cluster but yeah, server should be up by either tomorrow or the end of next week.

  13. Yeah, my computer is a beast and it can barely run it at a stable, enjoyable frame rate. I guess that's what 1.5K parts does though. Thanks for taking a look at this!
  14. Thank you. That craft doesn't look that bad itself. A Lot of the part count comes from the turrets, they are about ~70 parts each give or take 5 or so That is a beautiful screen shot by the way... Here they are @8bitgammers so you may take a look...
  15. Awesome, thank you. Just remember the second stage on the re-fire missiles and that you can relock the turrets by quicksaving and reloading.
  16. Well, I have a new ship. A big ship. One of the biggest I have made... Currently I have two variants of this ship. The variants have different armaments with the first one having mostly moveable turrets. Both designs have a stockpile of 4 re-fire missiles that have secondary SRBs that dramatically increase their speed. Get around to another person's craft first if you can. I know I have had my fair share of craft reviews. Otherwise take a look at this if you are interested.
