I'm 17. I like to build rockets that are at least somewhat realistic. Though at times I do build monstrosities.

Why did you decouple the 2 ships? I'm pretty sure you could've saved the mission by parachuteing the whole thing down.

This. It was really easy to fix tho, I just had to angle the sepatrons a bit less.

Edit the .cfg files, or just deal with it. Besides, 80 kg is not that much, especially not because you are mostly adding cones to boosters which are dropped during ascent.

Keep in mind that you can't rename your probes if they are out of charge. That gave me a headache, so I figured I'd share it

Protip: mess around. Put your SRB's upside down, if you want (or dare...). Build a big rocket out of only SRBs. Do stuff, go places. Don't forget to have fun

Actually, this is *not* the way to go. It would mean speeding up to the speed Duna has, which means you have to spend *quite* a bit of fuel. The best thing to do is fiddling around with maneuver nodes a bit and try to find the cheapest encounter. Also.... I don't know how you would orbit the sun clockwise? Could you give me an example of how to achieve such an orbit? I can only think of building a big-ass rocket with nervas to cancel out all orbital velocity, but this would take a rocket with some 15000m/s delta v. Which is a lot.

I do totally understand them; I also have trouble naming my missions/launch vehicles. India's got 1.2 billion inhabitants. This mission costs $75 million; less than $1 per inhabitant. For less than $1, you can't even feed the whole population for a day; IMO it's better to spend the money on boosting science.

The problem is that the navball does not show the target orientation... That's why I use the Docking Alignment Indicator.
