Minmus, I'd say the surface is made out of Milky Quartz and the so called "lakes" are Ferrous Sulphite or molten Copper EDIT: Oh, the cyan-turquoise effect of copper only works if the copper's been in oxygen, unless oxygen is rising from the surface. Which could mean it could blow at any point...

How To Download OPM
Monkey Taylor replied to Monkey Taylor's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I tried that as well -
I really want the Outer planets mod I followed the instructions I got the OPM 1.2 and Kopernicus 1.2 put them in my GameData/Squad bit but still no mod, actually I have the OPM mod just not kopernicus so I don't have the planets, I know I've got rhe OPM on there because I don't have eeloo and it only goes out to jool, so where and how to you put the Kopernicus.

This tutorial is nothing special this is just the way I do it. Rocket Design Mk16 parachute Mk1 command pod TT-18A stack decoupler FL-T600 fuel tank LV-909 "Terrier" liquid fuel engine TT-18A stack decoupler FL-T 800 fuel tank LV-T30 "Swivel" liquid fuel engine RT-10 "Hammer" solid rocket booster x2 Tutoial Make sure your Solid rocket boosters's go of at the same time as the liquid fuel engine put your throttle 2/3 and liftoff! Make sure when you reach 145 m/s you turn to the little 80 on the NavBall. Now when you reach 300 ,m/s turn to the 60 on the NavBall. Decouple. Now go into map view [M] and hover over the blue Ap wait until the number on it says around 75,000 and cut off your engines, next go back to fly view [M] and turn to the line between the orange and blue and throttle 1/3 and go back into map view and look at the blue line widen a bit (for about 15 seconds). Cut of throttle. now click on the Ap sign and press the Manuever thing. Now click and move your mouse up (still clicking) on the until you get about a perfect circle of the orange dotted lines. Go into fly view and toggle SAS on [T] if you haven't already and click on the in the red circle around the NavBall. You should see some green letters on the right of the NavBall that say Est. Burn and Node in T- look at the Est. Burn number lets say its 1m 30s whats half of that? 45s put on full throttle when it says Node in T-45s and burn full throttle until the Est. burn says 1 and cut-off your engines and above the Node in T+ and Est. Burn there should be a green tick and click on it. You are now in orbit!

I burned too late and ended up falling through the atmosphere. I'm just like a Kerbal, forgetting to add parachutes (even though you don;t think they're necesary!).

The Jool Sarnus-10 Challenge
Monkey Taylor replied to Monkey Taylor's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
It's in the Emoticons! -
The Jool Sarnus 10 Challenge The Jool Sarnus 10 challenge is a challenge in which you need to land on all 5 moons of Jool, like the Jool 5, but you also need to land on the 5 moons of Sarnus (OPM). These are the rules: You must have the "Outer Planets Mod" to get Sarnus. You must do it with one ship. You have to return back to Kerbin. The rocket has to cost under or exactly 250,000 kerbucks (). The pilot has to be Jebediah Jones Kerman. You can have Kerbal Engineer Redux & Precise Node Alignment. ISRU is allowed. Hope you have fun failing.
