  1. Quick question, you say you need kct for this mod to work properly, does that mean you’re supposed to recover active vessel in the kct ui? Or just recover it any which way? For or example I just done an engine static test and pad abort test in one go, the crew capsule ends up half a mile away and I recover that using kct, the booster is still on the pad (with a probe core) so I recover that using kct. When you look at the parts in the van then, all pets say that they are new? This can’t be right surely? Or or does all of this have something to do with the fact it was all held down with launch clamps therefore doesn’t count as a use?
  2. Top man thank you. Yes it did look like that. I will give that a whirl now. Thank you yes I have scrapyard and module manager
  3. Sorry if I’m being stupid but how do I do that? I think uve I’ve installed it right, the zip file is a little different to other mods, when you open the folder up there’s a load of files including the game data folder. Ive put all those files in the folder and the stuff in the game data in the games game data folder. I assume this is right?
  4. installed this on a 1.4.5 save and I dont seem to have any of the functionality. there's no UI or anything. can anyone shed some light on this please? a screenshot of what I should be seeing could help too
  5. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! cant describe how disappointed I am at that news
  6. Lol at how slow that is in comparison to how quick they deploy
  7. So if the F9 is so good now as a BV then surely a BV FH is even better at launching heavy stuff? (I.e something much bigger than Telstar)
  8. I really hate how nonchalantly they dissmiss the FH. Its like the ugly big brother. They love the F9, they wax lyrical about the BFR yet because FH was “hard” and “pointless because BFR” they just seem to not care about it. Its an incredible feat of engineering - not to mention utterly glorious to watch launch and land
  9. I understand that... but the name is MR Steven... I just always assumed it was a middle finger to the norm
  10. Wait... mr Steven is a girl?!? my forum is messed up I think...
  11. Why can’t they just throw them up on a FH? doesnt need to be NASA approved if they’re private companies? It’s literally like me paying my mate to drive me somewhere and back
  12. 4am in the morning for myself - not enough incentive to get up and watch it
  13. Weird seeing one without the grid fins and legs now! Stinking rocket too too probably not helped by that interstage though
  14. It’s a bump cap... https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bump+cap&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari&dlnr=1&sei=XwgDW5mPEcfQgAbL1o6YCw Use them hem in work when hard hats are a bit of a pain
  15. Holy moley my excitement just went through the roof! Im off to Disney in October through November so that means I get to see a FH launch as I’ll be in Florida! If my luck hold out!!
  16. I understand why, but it was visibly quicker, reminded me a bit of the OP FH launch. Awesome to watch, and a cracking camera angle too
  17. Looks a lot cleaner than previous blocks! Was it just me or did it just up and leave that pad quicker than previously? cant wait for a B5Heavy!
  18. Ive lost count of how many times I’ve been waiting for an atlas launch and it gets held for some reason. Id much rather wait a day than see it explode
  19. Makes sense I suppose - it gathers data. also are my maths wrong... 300 predicted falcon flights before retirement, each block 5 booster can do 100 flights with periodic maintenance. Does that mean they’re only building 4 or 5 block 5 boosters? Or as little as 3 being as they could in theory do them all...?
  20. Needs black fairings and that black pinstripe going all the way down (stage 2 & 1) and that would look proper
  21. Who cares? We would get to watch 13 Falcon heavies!
