  1. Had something similar a while ago. I tripped because of nothing (aside from overestimating friction on my floor) Well, at least my I only saw black every time I tried to stand up after that for 30 minutes or so. I was fine after that. But now, I have another goal to achieve in my life: NEVER actually pass out.
  2. Well, I'm going to ban myself for forgetting an "you" between "because" and "couldn't". And I'm going to ban you for thinking that I was thinking he wasn't joking.
  3. Banned because couldn't either.
  4. Except for the floating text on the top right? Yes, absolutely!
  5. You can use Ctrl+L to lock the stage, but it gets unlocked again when you switch to another vessel/ the space center.
  6. The only time I have encountered the kraken (I think at least) was during a mission to Ike. I wanted to land there. and when I switched to the vessel during the transfer orbit to Duna, one of the tanks on the side went haywire. It ended up destroying a landing leg. Fortunately I had a quicksave just before that.
  7. banned for having an unpronounceable username.
  8. Can you not land on a body without gravity/inaccessable SOI? Why?
  9. built a space shuttle without the KS-25 or other necessary parts. Works wonderfully. Crashes after not even 50 seconds.
  10. I also go to the launch pad via the VAB. But I can kinda provide a reason, too. So, when you start a new save (or better; open up the game for the first time), you go to the VAB to build rockets or the SPH when building a plane. Especially at the beginning of the game, you enter the VAB/SPH so many times because you get new and better parts, want to try something new or just improve an already existing vessel. You eventually start to associate rockets with the VAB and planes with the SPH, so you instinctively click on the corresponding building instead of the launch pad or runway.
  11. My latest mission to dock to my Minmus station was a disaster from start to finish. It was supposed to replace the corpses kerbals in the station that were rotting there for 6 years with new "staff". Everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong. It was sucessful, however. I constructed a new vehicle that was supposed to dock to the station. The first thing I did was... forget the launch clamps. No worries; revert to VAB, put clamps on. Then I launched it sucessfully into LKO to find to things wrong: First, I forgot the solar panels. But that's not a problem; If I can get to the station, I can charge the battery with its solar panels. However, a minor miscalculation made that too risky: After arriving in LKO, I realized I only had about 1200m/s dV left. I decided to abort. Okay, back to the drawing board. Solar panels: Check. Sufficient fuel: Check. Okay, everything's fine, let's do it! Well... In the middle of the transfer to Minmus, I got less and less connection back to Kerbin... I forgot the antennas. Oh wow, this is a new personal best already. Then I realized something crucial was missing. Remember that it was a mission to dock to my station? Well, what do you need to dock? Docking ports! What did I forget? Docking ports! So I had to park next to the station and then replace the kerbals via EVA. I left low minmus orbit, got back to Kerbin, killed some speed with the fuel left, and landed safely in what was the worst mission I had ever done.
  12. 10/10 for that flat-earther logic in your post. You seriously nailed that perfectly.
  13. Go back to 1.2.2. I never experienced this jumping in that version. Is that a new bug or a "reintroduced" one?
  14. Considering what your father listens to.. maybe. But there's nothing wrong with listening to jazz, classical or swing music. I also enjoy these types of music.
  15. Well, we're already consuming more resources than Earth could produce. I guess there would be nothing left for the aliens anyway. Our 1500 year journey to this place called "Earth" has turned out to be useless and a waste of resources.
  16. We watched a movie in RE. I was so uninterested and bored that I drew/hand-computed a z2+c Julia set with c=0. That was much more interesting. I don't struggle with "jewelry", "brewery" or "squirrel". My problems are words like "Earth's", "Deaths", "depths"; words that contain "ths".
  17. Don't even think about what I think you're thinking about!
  18. Granted. You bend the laws of physics to achieve it. Unfortunately this also caused Kerbin to turn into a black hole. I wish to leave the Solar System.
  19. On the theme of math: Show them a picture of the Mandelbrot Set, maybe? Or some of the Julia sets?
  20. I'd probably try and get as far away as possible in any scenario. I'm not the kind of person that's skilled enough for/willing to make first contact.
