The enormous number of batteries is just enough to handle all dishes during the night time! The amount of planning let you spare a lot of time in definitive! -

I'm not sure about the rules of this sub, Am i allowed to post a link to my website ? I ve written an extensive mission report about the deployment of a base on Moho. If yes, here is the article ( split in 5 parts) https://mobylettespaceindustries.wordpress.com/2017/01/13/moho-02_01/ if no, well, let me know and remove it!

This movie is dedicated to @GoSlash27 and @Gaarst who inspired it and because they ruined my social life (again) : i have landed about 150 times on Tylo this sunday to shoot the full movie. Here the Teaser, you'll love this method...

it's kontainer. with no modification, i just selected the silver texture instead of the default one. the cylindrical one is a 5m tank from FASA (Apollo serie i think) (edit; Gemini serie)

This is the Kepler base, a scientific and an oil rig base on Minmus, Messy, i admit. silly landing of the core part. And this is Kandromede base, i'm proud of this one: it's really compact but i won't call it small. Those bases had been deployed in career mode without cheat and are equipped to be sustainable with TacLifeSupport. no extra planetary launchpad. Just a lot of pain to lift and assemble part by part with KisKas and some craines

well, it's a long long long story... especially due to the fact i play with tac life support and remotetech... Here's the compound: made of the interplanetary pusher (on the back with nuclear engines) the base is on the center, with a rover attached above, a lander below and 3 remote techs relays behind the lander, and a refueler tanker in front.... if you are interested by the design, i have a website in very bad froggy english about the process... https://mobylettespaceindustries.wordpress.com/2017/01/13/moho-02_01/ i used only 2 launches : the pusher with the base, sats, rover, lander, and another one only for the refueler tanker. This useless orange antenna bothers me each time i see it... I launched the tanker and refueled it on a Minmus base Then, i got back to lko and attached it to the mothership for the journey. Part 4 of the website is not up to date because this mission is still ongoing. http://i.imgur.com/ohTeg8J.gifv here is the pusher (mothership) with the lander in front

well, and what about my social life ? hein? noted. I think everybody should use the three methods, the suicide burn, when you have a rush and a high twr, the constant alt method for best efficiency and the reverse gravity turn to land as near as possible to a target, to assemble a base for example. Thanks for your advices.

@Gaarst I decided to give it a try on Mun instead of Minmus because it's so ridiculously easy to land on Minmus i suppose the difference in dv costs should be too small to be noticeable. Don't you think? @GoSlash27 well, it's not really a suicide burn, more a final descent. i think.
