  1. You can put it anywhere but the KSP folder. See https://github.com/godarklight/DarkMultiPlayer#server for instructions.
  2. Did something go wrong in the zipping process? Because all of the directories are empty. Also, I just thought of something. Maybe you can link the GitHub releases with the Kerbal Stuff download versions with a special tag.
  3. Looks better. Jool looks like a circle rather than a sphere, though.
  4. What was the filter/blacklist entry that it generated? Does Adblock show that it blocked an element using that entry in every site you go to?
  5. Wow. That looks a lot like the LV-N rocket motor.
  6. Not a lot more to add to the scene. You should make the Jool texture more vibrant, as if there really were numerous gases floating about in layers.
  7. Looks great (except the logo, which is occluding a third of Jool's beautiful "surface" ). There are some (complicated) node setups out there that let you add a very nice glow effect to your planet. Or you can use Volume Scatter, your choice.
  8. Easy, just use the ColorRamp and set the value to "Wave Texture".
  9. Did you see my recent render of that rocket engine I was working on? It has a striking similarity to your Rockomax, especially the stripes at the top. (I dunno, I guess we were thinking the same thing )
  10. Finally, we can compete against Curseforge! Hopefully Kerbal Stuff itself doesn't turn into another Curse in the future..
  11. Okay, at least it doesn't take 10 seconds to load a page. Anyway, here's a bug that is happening consistently:
  12. Instead of a "next" button, can you have a "load more" button?
  13. Also, do you know how to "link" an edge loop to a face? This is my scenario: EDIT: Never mind, figured it out. You have to delete the faces and then bridge the edge loops together. EDIT 2: Okay, here's mine: Updated:
  14. I love your modesty just as I appreciate your works. "hey, it's just a rough sketch, I haven't even textured it, ok?" dang it, how did you make the nozzle so shiny and smooth? Every time I do it, it appears really noisy and jagged. (I set the mesh to smooth)
  15. Cycles or BI smoke? I can give you a Cycles node setup if you want. (It's a bit complicated)
  16. What happens to all of the links when the beta ends? Do they get redirected to the main site?
  17. Grass looks excellent, I'll tell you that. You can assign a vertex group to the grass particle group and then use Weight Paint if you want to control where grass should grow. You should also apply a bit of gloss to the hangar doors to make them look shiny and metallic. If you want, you can also change the normals a bit to make the dirt even cooler looking. I also think that the sun should be moved so that it's aiming directly at the hangar and gets the plane (and the hangar) to cast a shadow.
  18. Nope. You don't even need the mods installed on the server. Maybe in the future we might be able to make server-side mods..
  19. Looks pretty good. This looks like it was made with the Blender internal renderer and not the Cycles renderer. That's a shame. (I myself never really did a lot with Cycles simply because my graphics card (which was only considered decent by the gaming community for less than a year) isn't supported. So I have to make do with my CPU, which is a bit slow.) Do you have to put the parts together yourself, or is there a script that does it for you?
  20. DLC is more of a late-game kind of thing. Once KSP (the full version) is released, there are going to be so many players and features that adding anything else might disrupt the stability of the game or of other mods significantly. Example: Squad could release a DLC with epic shaders for anyone that happens to be playing KSP on a supercomputer. Since it's very attractive, but might lag out many players' games, Squad earns money from people who really want epic graphics in their game while keeping the players who play the game on a netbook or laptop happy.
  21. You should add a decoupler so that you can slide in other stages.
  22. Got Windows 7? You can use the "Previous Versions" feature. That has saved me numerous times, not just in KSP.
  23. For determining front-page worthy material automatically, you should look at how The Powder Toy calculates front page content.
  24. 1971? Never heard of such a number...
