@The Flying Kerbal For mechjeb i'm the false person but Throttle Controlled Avionics by allista have this autopilot funktion (but on realy high tier) and has many other nice functionaloties beside too. But be warned allistas mods are something you have to be realy self concern person or you tend to become a OP-God And as a small advice for carrier mode. I disassemble orbiral stages near my stations to get Material Kits as bonus for support runs. Why blew them up if you need only free containers? And for your liking big buildungs. Im not sure that the stars are good example here because the big ones have the shortest lifespan and many of them degenerate to dwarf classes. If we talk about overcome on dwarf stars in universum we literally say "look how many corpses are flying there" We don't see so many big ones because they are gone before we evolved far enough to define wich ones are big or smal. But if you look at younger star birthplaces you see a overcome on giant ones. The main strang stars are rarity there and dwarfs are as rare as none present. Don't you think so? Urses

@Ninadragonborn Hi Nina and welcome to the forums. If i look at your pic i have afeeling in the guts thar you have a clipping problem. The heatshield looksblike it is clipping in your pod and the pod is than the first to absorb the reentry heating and spread it to other parts. Try out to move shield a step down maybe and look if it will help? It can be a collison mesh missalligment through the number of mods you use. For allocation of mos conflicts you can use the half method to speed it up. You can simply install and uninstall mods buy dragging the subderectories frim GameData. Id you drag one half out and start the game. Try your craft on flight if the problem is persistent if yes you know for sure the badguy is in this list if not than he is in pther half. This way you can fast lokalize the problem and ask the developer of thia mode if it is a known problem and how to bugfix this. I hope this helps Urses

This explains it... my exertion stages have allways a cargobay with the smalest probe some batteries and a closed small tank for deorbit. Station part up. The stage is on a realy excentrical orbit like 73-275. I make my work... Station dock some construction work with engineer... for somewhere around 1/2 hour and see the stage is short above the atmo. Let switch the sight to see some nice booms... Engine explodes, same the tanks ... the Cargobay is shiny red and speed around 1k m/s and mimics a UFO... no problem if it us not the heat than it is the lithobreak.... hmm funny the surroundings looks familiar and there is a waypoint in the trajektory ... GSC... perfect R&D hit at 500m/s... the only thing that survived was the startpoint on the runway...i think if i did not open the bay i had overshoot... But it was like a "rabbit in light" moment with disaster upcoming.... And i never get as near as 250km on atmosphere Bodies on purpose... Lesson for me... 1.a dragchute is a need... 2.Its not good to to give up to OCD for perfection on starts.... Funny Kabooms Urses

New day, new fail.... To be honest the fail was not so bad as in S*** more like upppsss. Tried to build an SSTOplane for turism contracts, was to eager to make some money and rep and through Private Sector III from Strategia a bonus on Scince. Like 30 Tourists awaits a hop to Space and im going for MK3. Fain start realy beautifull circularisation at 82-83. Tourists ate chearing reentry goes realy well too... but hmm 1k km to GSC and i have only 750 dv on the SCIMITARS... I didn' tealisoed that on my speedrun i burned way to much LF... I landed on runaway after 1 hour gliding realtime with healthy 6k kg on oxidiser and 2.3 kg LF... Funny Kabooms Urses

My personal moment for "it is not stock any more " was as i installed a VanillaKSP subdirectory on my PC. It was thus moment as i seen i need a spezial version of basis game to have all my mods usable. Funny Kabooms Urses

With scatterer i have some funny artifacts too. If i EVA a Kerbal i see sometimes water animations as if the Kerbal is on Sealevel. It is flickering and mostly need a specific kamera rotation to see this. The funny thing about is it is not permament effect and looks like this will be some memory artifacts. But it could clarify where the memory leack comes from? Like a animation in background wich not belongs there? Funny Kabooms Urses PS: without scatterer the problem isn't here and i see no expectations in the log. But RAM usage shots up for roughly 10% on a 16GB system. PPS: i seen this effect on Iota, Ceti and polar over Kerbin(i though at fist i downloaded by acsident a planet on realy low Gael orbit because it looked like mirrowed Gael by proportions but thus was only once)-> if i think back i mean it was somewhere wattery too.

Many wise man had a word. I have only one point. If you begin to learn how to fly you can make your life a lot easier if you use at the begining steerable winglets or tail fins. For exercise they are realy helpful. Your only stearing ability on start is the pod all the way up and SRB's push you all the way up without realy control ability. 2 fins on SRB 1 for each and 4 steerable winglets or Tailfins on your first liquide fuel stage (downwards) and try out if you have it easier this way.
