  2. Here's my first SSTE: Sotka I More pictures in the imgur album: The vessel has one Vector and two NERVs, and no air-breathing engines . It can reach LKO in single stage and land on Minmus comfortably for refuel. It can reach and land on all bodies (expect Eve). The cargo bay holds liquid fuel tanks, reaction wheels, batteries, ISRU, radiators and and an RTG (see imgur album). It can land on most bodies with just NERVs and has plenty of dV when fueled only with liquid fuel (see tables below). The two airbrakes on top of the Vector also double as heat shield when performing aerocapture/brake. When out of fuel, it will tip on its tail and won't be aerodynamically stable. Having the front C7 adapter full (locked by default) will prevent tipping and keep the CoM in front of CoL (see imgur album). Lock all tanks with Lf+Ox. Use NERVs to transfer and capture to Tylo. In Tylo SOI unlock Lf+Ox tanks, giving you 2793 m/s for the Vector to circularize and land.   4. Here's my submission with a 136-seat SSTO to Eeloo (and Minmus). The video was published already in last August, but that's still okay, I guess?   5. @sdj64 Thank you for accepting my submission and also for the feedback! I'll keep this in mind the next time. The "bridge" actually does produce drag, and it's not the most efficient place to put the crew in. A mk3 cockpit in place of the current nose cone would have been a better solution. But hey, it's "Kerbal Space Program" not "Sensible Space Program".
  6. Here's my 3rd level Jool-5 mission in the form a video. I hope it's enough, but I can make a more detailed image album if necessary. Flown in KSP 1.3 Mission info: Single launch stock SSTO with full part recovery. No refueling or ISRU needed. All moons have separate landers, and the Tylo lander uses an Ion Tug for transfers. Landers are packed in one long + one short Mk3 Cargo Bay. Mothership separates from lifter in LKO and continues to the Joolian system. Straight transfer to Jool without gravity assists. All landers (except Laythe Jet) separate from mothership in Jool SOI. Laythe's gravity used to capture to Jool and transfer to the moons. Landers return to mothership in Laythe orbit. Straight transfer from Jool to Kerbin, where orbit is achieved by burning retrograde (~1.1 km/s) and aerocapture. Once in circular LKO, mothership unites with lifter. Mothership has no RCS, so final docking is done with the lifter. A crew of six Kerbals with one for each moon and one for Ion Tug. Four are in Mk2 Crew Cabin, one in the Jet and one in the Tug. Here's my submission with Sirkka I ("Mini SSTO" in the video): 16 parts single rapier engine 2 ramp intakes mk1 inline cockpit mass: 5.04t cost: 14,116 crew: 1 Landed at KSC from orbit without using engines, although had a tiny bit of liquid fuel left Score: I don't which landing modifier I should use. If its 10 (land it back at KSP under power), the score would be 5557.1307 = 1 * 14116 / (5.04^2) * 10 I hope video submissions are ok. There is a small discontinuity when landing (at ~11 km), because I couldn't nail the landing on the first try , so I had to quick save + load.
  8. Here's my SSTO to Eeloo with some passengers. I hope you guys enjoy. For mission planning and getting that K-E-K-K-J transfer, I used Flyby Finder and followed @PLAD's posts about Eeloo and Jool (without Mun assist or Jool aerobrake). For Kerbin ejection burns I used Precomputed Low-TWR Interplanetary Transfer Burns by @Red Iron Crown. Thank you both!
