  1. Actually, it is known better as Kerbol in the forums. Devs use it. and I\'ve never heard that it\'s called the Sun by the Devs.
  2. Uhhhhh... like this? 8) If you were one of the people above saying how it was nearly impossible to do a rocket carrier or that 'I don\'t think deploying from the bottom is practical at all' person please test this out and slap your brains out thinking 'why didn\'t I think of that!?'. I managed to do this with STOCK PARTS! (not picture look for it below) HOW TO USE: since it is slightly off angle to the runway, do not activate ASAS when lifting off (would also not let you take off) then go at about 45 degrees. when you go horizontal, activate the two aerospikes and point up. when they become useless, deactivate the turbojets. then use it like an ordinary rocket/point up to get an apex above atmosphere and then burn horizontal. Capable of orbit.
  3. uhhh, first of all, press F1 to screenshot in KSP How to correct orbits? go the the apogee and burn towards where you\'re going to raise the whatever (fail at remembering). when they are about the same height, you have a circular orbit.
  4. I think we are killing them so fast that part malfunctions may not make a noticeable impact
  5. I see what you did there 8)
  6. ever heard of 2001: a space Odyssey?
  7. Im still hoping that the campaign would begin with KSP being a spin off of the kerbal ICBM program in a Kold war.
  8. To explain Skunky, he means that you are going horizontal. you need to land straight down
  9. My first orbit was around Kerbol =P
  10. !) build a contraption 2) add more boosters 3) add more struts 4) If it explodes, you did not add enough boosters or struts 5) If it does not explode, add more boosters and struts
  11. To the best of my knowledge, its a placeholder we\'ll have to wait for the overhaul
  12. Note: There is not download yet because it\'s too big. will load during the night. Also needs Jellycubes modular missiles The Ultra lollagger is the latest addition to my XFP series. The first versions were your typical, large, 3-engine aircraft that has a JATO capability. However in the pursuit of moar boostars, I accidentally clicked the wing. Then an idea came to me: copy & paste the wings with the engines! So, I copied & pasted em 2 times, and got a 7-engine behemoth. I also discovered it causes a LOT of lag. Kudos to who can use it without lag once its up! Pic 1 shows front in VAB Pic 2 shows the front at runway Pic 3 shows the back at runway
  13. however, the 2nd KSP doesn\'t have a runway. maybe this will be the 'secret feature'
  14. Well, we have explored Kerbin since KSP came out, even managing to find the Second KSP . A lot of people have aircraft capable of reaching both of the poles, Carts that circumnavigated, and etc. However, I\'ll say there is still a large part that is unexplored.
  15. May I suggest that they do not have a digestive system? I think their mouths are part of their reproductive system. The males should carry spores inside and the females carries I-dont-know-what (maybe ovaries, since kerbals dont need the intestines, stomachs, and etc).
  16. my best guesses according to that picture is 1/2 meter.
  17. Lol, never thought the famous KSP saying, (may have multiple variations)Had such a awesome meaning: *upside down boosters
  18. I think it was supposed to be Mini-Mun (miniature Mun) but either the devs thought it was too unoriginal or made a typo and it ended up as Mini-Mus
  19. Actually, an international group of experts believer it is made of mint ice cream.
