[1.4.0 - 1.5.x] Audio Muffler Redux [v2.6.1] (2018 May, 7)
Nightfury replied to Ser's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The real lags are starting with mods that are cpu-heavy like FAR, which are ok alone, but performance stealing in bigger amounts. I only notice the lags in my bigger mod installs, when I think of AMR as a realism-enhancement (RSS/RO/RP0...) -

This information is probably not that helpfull but: I have a tried using AMR with stock and everything is ok. But as soon I put some small mods in (like realplume , which makes it lagy with more mods), the lags are coming. Have a AMD Phenom II X4 965 / GTX750Ti / HDD (300GB) So no hyperthreading , but lags -
Kerbal Space Program update 1.4 Grand Discussion thread.
Nightfury replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Just saw it and tested it right away. Looks very nice I like the texture switching the most tbh Yeah, some sounds (mostly turn on and off) sound weird, but this is the first time we hear this and there are going to be changes Can't find the Bugtracker right now (maybe it's pretty obvious, but yeah) On an trans-Minmus reentry , some part's of the effect are visible trough the capsule(which is transparent in this case). Besides this, the effect has some gaps between. -
And the explosion when the booster tips over... hot and bright

Hey guys, I have a relativly 'huge' RSS/RO install with 132 mods and encounter the same problem over and over... When I look at parts in the VAB/SPH the first weird thing happens. The 'configure Pod' text is already doubled. This continues when I place e.g. a Command Pod. There are now two scrubbers and two pressure controlls instead of one each. Moreover all different features(monoprop fuel cell, waste processor...) are in the menu, which is obviously not itended, because you should only be able to choose two in configure Pod (they don't work neither). But the worst is that the presurrised tanks for storing gases and such, break all GAP's when I try to put in Nitrogen and Ammonia (I then can't open any right-click menu). PC: AMD Phenom II X4 965, GTX GeForce 750Ti, 8GB RAM+ ~10GB paging file And before you ask: i disabled all functions of TACLS, so that I can use the parts, but the LSS of Kerbalism Mods(only those which are in AVC): Thanks for help!

the webcast is late edit: oh, crap

A little question: is SpaceX building the sattelites themselfes or are they contracting other companys? They try to build everything in house , but have they the knowledge for this ?
-
Thats because you need to switch between cameras, in the down right corner is a button
-
Don't know it was already mentioned in this way, the confirmation was clearly "hearable"(?) in the control room webcast: Go to 'Countdown Net Audio' and there to 38:15 (actually 38:29)
-
yeah sure, but why not depressurize it before?
-
W-WHAAT , whyy it was "just" a big piece of metall ( i know there some other stuff) with useful data !
-
Don't know if there is a answer yet, but is there any new infornation about the center core? Hopyfully not, but in the webcast you saw smoke and stuff, but nothing more which could be a sign of the stage exploding right next to the ship Besides this it's weird that it takes so long to get any telemetry of the ASDS or S1...
-
You're not alone
-
see you at the soyuz launch then
-
what the hell is this squeaking noise in the background? edit : *was*
