  1. Hello. I really like the soyuz service module but its size doesn't quite fit the stock soviet parts in the game (KV1, KV2 and KV3 command pods). Which parts from which mod are used in the quoted post (in the linked image)? I really would like to recreate a soyuz orbital module in right proportions. Thx.
  2. Hello @HafCoJoe I've seen the new EVE redux volumetric clouds update. It looks amazing and I wanted to give it a whirl. Have you tested it yet alongside with Spectra? Any risks of compatibility issues that we should expect (for instance with the 64k clouds plugin) or tweak tips that we sould be aware of or is it all good? Have a nice week-end f.
  3. Hello, Newbie set of questions here as well as some observations. I installed the lastest version of Spectra (via CKNA) along with EVE redux, Scatterer and Distant Object continued. Everything seems to work fine. However, Kerbin clouds at the edge of the planet's dark side are extremely contrasted and colorful (especially purple). It didn't use to be like this. Is it normal? Subsidiary question concerning EVE config file w/ Spectra. Sorry if it has been ask tons of times but is this config file automatically created by Spectra and ready to use? When I open CKAN I have this little tab that indicates a conflict: I'd also like to thank the author of this mod for recent improvements (unless the credit is on EVE Redux side), but I noticed huge performance gains between this version and previous one I played with. Best regards, F.
  4. Hello folks. Another Soyuz rockets fan here; a launcher from which I built a replica using the stock parts. If restock makes it look nicer I wasn't completely satisfied with a few aspects on a pure aesthetical level. Which is ofc why I installed Tantares. First of all, I'd like to give a shout out to Beale and to all of those who have contributed to this mod directly or indirectly. I didn't expect that amount of parts, so nicely detailed and astutely incorporated to the game "ecosystem". Really neat stuff! In my attempt to recreate Soyuz (not only the orbital spacecraft but also the launcher) I unfortunately couldn't find those beveled tanks as seen in the folowing image: Yet, this part seems to be included in the mod parts as seen on a screenshot by Zorg: Am I missing something? I double checked and I could find the rights tanks except one that is perfectly cylindric (Tantares Size 1.5 Fuel Tank C). Although there are two shape-fiting parts but with a diameter that do not fit the design (Tantares Size 1.5 to 1 Adapter Tank C & D). Also, along the same lines, I cannot find a similar beveled upper part tank as seen here: But I guess, I'm just asking way too much here haha. Either way, I know I'm quibbling a bit but what can we do? Perfectionists... Regards, F.
  5. Yo, I encounter the same issue described by Max above: what I see in first person view is the stock cockpit without the tools introduced by rasterprop monitor . I followed Max's instructions and tried to rename the interior ID. But my interior's ID were alreazdy set with the right name. So I guess it comes from somewhere else. I cannot see the small camaeras as well, the ones that I can attach to the rocket. But maybe that's because I started a new carreer and need to unlock them later on (?). Keep me updated if you guys find or suggest anything, Regards, f.
  6. Hello, I really enjoy the graphic improvements of this mod but this add-on is a such gpu/cpu killer. During takeoff phases I'm having between 5 and 10 fps. Yet, I own a solid rig (specs: gtx1080, r5 1600x, 16gb ddr4). Although, once I'm in space, it's much better as I'm often over 60 fps. What can i do to improve my framerate during takeoff phases? Would it help if I use 4k textures instead of 8k? At last, how can I remove or decrease the amount of aurora borealis? it seems to me that they are either too large, too green or either too much on the upper layer of the atmosphere. moreover I would say that they are too homogenously distributed (their pattern are not chaotic enough) which gives the impression of two verdatres couples that crown the poles of kerbin. Best regards, f.
  7. Hello. As to set up AVP I have to install Kopernicus and Modulemanager and that both include the same dll file (modulemanager), despite the fact that they seem two different versions, I wondered which one should I overwrite for AVP? Thank you folks. EDIT: Well, I eventually kept the original Modulemanager and it seems working just fine. I've got few others questions though, do those orange clouds pop up suddenly when you take off from Kerbin ? I find it quite disturbing. And how to turn visuals colorimetrically less saturated ? Imho, colors are too vivid (maybe not from the map or looking at objects in a great distance), especially from grounds. Do I have to deal with E.V.E parameters (where to?) or use such software as Reshade to do post treatements? Merci.
