  1. The instructions look good. I'm running 1.6.2 in my Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS virtual machine currently. When I started up the Mission Architect, this was written out to the console: Warning: A value of class "TankFluidTypeSet" was indexed with no subscripts specified. Currently the result of this operation is the indexed value itself, but in a future release, it will be an error. > In LaunchVehicle (line 20) In LaunchVehicle.createDefaultLaunchVehicle (line 432) In LvdData.getDefaultLvdData (line 83) In ma_MainGUI>generateCleanMissionPlan (line 209) In ma_MainGUI>newMissionPlanMenu_Callback (line 564) In ma_MainGUI>ma_MainGUI_OpeningFcn (line 91) In gui_mainfcn (line 220) In ma_MainGUI (line 40) In mainGUI>missionArchitectMenu_Callback (line 671) In gui_mainfcn (line 95) In mainGUI (line 42) In matlab.graphics.internal.figfile.FigFile/read>@(hObject,eventdata)mainGUI('missionArchitectMenu_Callback',hObject,eventdata,guidata(hObject)) In waitforallfiguresclosed (line 9) Is that expected?
  2. I've set up a spare computer with a Bittorrent client to provide additional seeding, but it's not downloading anything. Is there an updated torrent file, or is there nothing else seeding it at the moment?
  3. I think that's all that's needed. I've written up what I think are full instructions (I haven't tested them in a couple of days) at https://finitemonkeys.org/ksptot_on_linux. (Pardon the formatting -- I'm still working on that.)
  4. Maybe I missed this in all the previous pages, but is there a way to use KSPTOT to calculate a transfer from (say) an orbit around Kerbin to rendezvous with Mun?
  5. I've been semi-obsessively tinkering with the setup of the virtual machine (it's what I do, unfortunately), but I now have KSPTOT running on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS on VirtualBox 6.0.2. Like @russm, I've just done a quick test, but so far it seems to run okay. I've been writing up instructions and will post them here soon, hopefully tomorrow.
  6. Sorry; I just now checked in to the forums for the first time in a week. (I expected I'd get a notification of a mention of my username, but apparently not.) This is exciting news! Commencing download in 3... 2... 1....
  7. I was able to get as far as running the MCR installer on Wine, but then got an error message that the installer thinks it needs some administrator right that it thinks it doesn't have. I have filed a bug with Wine. I, too, would like to see a Linux version. (The more the merrier, right?) Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
  8. Nothing but Apple laptops here, I'm afraid. I could run Windows in a VM, but then I'd need to have a Win64 license, and that's a whole other kettle of fish. I'm going to give the suggested steps for running on Linux a go (either in a VM or using WINE directly in macOS), but at the moment I'm not optimistic that WINE can run Win64 executables.
  9. Well, (insert various curse words here). KSPTOT doesn't work with recent versions of MCR, and older versions of MCR don't work with recent versions of macOS. Bk2w doesn't appear to be a member of the forums anymore, so unless I buy a license for MATLAB or find someone else who has one, I (and other macOS users) may be out of luck. :-(
  10. Grr. The 2013a release of Matlab doesn't want to install on my Macintosh, and to download the 2018a release they want a license number or activation key. Maybe I'm trying to download the wrong thing? Update: Okay, I think I found it. The link to the latest version of MCR (R2018b 9.5) is http://ssd.mathworks.com/supportfiles/downloads/R2018b/deployment_files/R2018b/installers/maci64/MCR_R2018b_maci64_installer.dmg.zip Update 2: KSPTOT 1.6.1 doesn't work with MCR 2018a. :-( According to the notes at https://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/matlab-runtime.html, nothing older than R2016b 9.1 supports any version of macOS equal to or newer than 10.12 (Sierra). I'm downloading R2016b 9.1 from http://ssd.mathworks.com/supportfiles/downloads/R2016b/deployment_files/R2016b/installers/maci64/MCR_R2016b_maci64_installer.dmg.zip and giving that a go. Update 3: R2016b 9.1 doesn't work, either. It supplies `libmwmclmcrrt.9.1.dylib`, which is missing at least one symbol for which the application is looking. I'll contact Bk2w separately to see if the app can be rebuilt against a newer version of MCR.
  11. Holy cow, I only just now learned about this today. It looks like it's going to be the top of my "mods I need to have but didn't realize it" list. :-)
  12. What operating system? On macOS 10.13.4 (High Sierra), I get the "incompatible" warning, but otherwise the mod appears to work correctly. I think a default server starts automatically, or at least it did for me. Did you try to create an additional server, or did this error pop up on its own?
  13. Works in 1.4.3 even though it (or something) presents a warning when KSP is launching.
  14. For what it's worth: I'm running KSP 1.3.1.1891 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.2, and am now having no problems with either launching conventionally by double-clicking in the Finder or, once it's running, with video stuttering or otherwise failing to render properly. In fact, I think it's rendering faster and smoother than 1.3.0 did on the same hardware. Notes: When I downloaded the zip file, expanded it, and tried running, I got a black screen, no loading images or progress bar. I deleted that whole folder, downloaded and ran the installer, and all is shiny and bright. I have no mods installed at the moment. I believe the only changes to settings that I've made are setting the resolution to the max for my external monitor (1920x1200), enabling full screen display, and setting "Advanced Tweakables".
