Mun North Pole needs fixing.

Whaddya mean, place launchpads anywhere in the solar system? Is this a mod, part of Making History, or just the stock game? -
This worries me a little...

whaddya mean, "roughly 24 hours"? where I live, there's 10 hours and 53 minutes until March 13 at the time of posting. (Don't ask why I know this.)
-
But isn't the KSC on a peninsula on the east side of a continent that looks similar to Africa? By the way, sorry about posting twice in a row. I wasn't thinking about the location thing while writing my last post.
-
By the way, does it bother anyone that some of the parts here were part of 1.4? You know, the personal parachute packs for Kerbals, the Apollo-type command module, and the new(and hard to distinguish from each other) decouplers?
-
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like staying up till 12 am to buy and install this within three minutes of the release?

Kerbal Space Program update 1.4 Grand Discussion thread.
dreadanaught replied to UomoCapra's topic in KSP1 Discussion
When will we see the wiki updated? I know that the changelog was updated, but the parts list has not been. Also, not sure if I like the new texture switcher tool, as it takes out some of the "Kerbalness" of severely mismatched color schemes on rockets, and I definitely disagree with the redo orange texture of the Rockomax Jumbo-64, as the orange color does not look very good, and it is much less detailed. -
Go figure.

I had the same glitch yesterday. Not sure why it happened, but I guess it's fixed now.

I was wondering, I built a mid-sized manned mobile base that seems to work well. However, while testing it on Kerbin near the KSC, I noticed the steering was slightly off, and I kept having to adjust its direction because it was veering to the side. I know that this thread is originally from spacecraft, but can someone please help me with this? Thanks!

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion - Release Date Announcement
dreadanaught replied to SQUAD's topic in 2018
The real world does exist, just not timewarp. Also, what do you mean by "Vanilla"? 'Cuz if there's a way to install mods into the real world, please inform me.- 444 replies

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion - Release Date Announcement

I'm pretty sure (if we are not including travel at a large fraction of the speed of light as timewarp.) that timewarp doesn't work in real life. (Just so you know)- 444 replies

Potentially Habitable Exoplanets
dreadanaught replied to Spaceception's topic in Science & Spaceflight
What happened to the TRAPPIST-1 System? It has 7 planets with surface water, three of which are in the habitable zone. -

Are you using the Panthers in Wet Mode or Dry Mode? I have checked, and the Wet Mode yields far higher thrust. Also, I would do away with the Panther engine for supersonic aircraft altogether, as the Whiplash yields a thrust of 130 kilonewtons at a standstill and a maximum thrust of over 750 kilonewtons at Mach 3. However, the Panther in Wet Mode yields a thrust of about 300 kilonewtons at Mach 2.5, and a thrust of 85 kilonewtons at a standstill. Thus the Whiplash is far better than the Panther. However, if the Panther is all that you have, It should work for Mach 2.5 or less. (Please note that the above images are from the wiki, and show the thrust MULTIPLIER based on Velocity, not altitude.)

Kerbal Space Program: Making History Expansion - Release Date Announcement
dreadanaught replied to SQUAD's topic in 2018
What if I bought the game through the kerbal space program store at http://kerbalspaceprogram.com? Will I have to get the DLC pack through there? Last I checked, the store was down, and I cannot get the DLC through steam, as steam would make me buy the actual game first, costing me $55 for DLC that only costs $15, and causing me to lose all of the progress I have gained. If anyone has answers to these questions, please post them.- 444 replies

Actually, no, it's not. According to the wiki page about the sun, 'There is no such thing as Kerbol outside of the community forums and wiki.' (Use ctrl+f to verify this.)

Inline stayputnik?
dreadanaught replied to Spudmeist3r's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
PEOPLE! Just do the research, and get either the OKTO or the OKTO2, as they are both better than the stayputnik, one being the lightest unmanned command module, the other having reaction wheels, and BOTH having SAS capabilities.
